Title-Senior Business Architect - Energy Sector
Location: Rochester, NY or Greater Boston Area (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 3-Year Project

Role Overview: As a Senior Business Architect specializing in energy, you will leverage your deep expertise in electric utility Outage Management Systems (OMS) and their related architectures. You will play a crucial role in defining and delivering comprehensive solutions, closely collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Define the scope of new client applications; prepare detailed requirements and design documentation.
Engage directly with client stakeholders to analyze existing processes and identify desired improvements.
Develop application roadmaps that align with the client's global development strategy.
Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to specify, design, and implement solutions.
Work cross-functionally within geographically dispersed teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
7+ years of relevant experience in the utility sector, specifically focused on ADMS/OMS.
Deep understanding of OMS technologies, business processes, and integration points.
Strong familiarity with systems interfacing OMS, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Customer Information Systems (CIS), field mobility solutions, and planned work.
Proven ability to manage trade-offs, engage stakeholders effectively, and capture precise user requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Experience with Siemens Spectrum Power OMSis highly desirable.
