About the Role
The Dismantler is responsible for breaking down pallets and sorting components that are reusable and those that are damaged while operating with incredible consistency and detail, ensuring pallets meet the quality standards. This role will perform an array of assembly line tasks from identifying damaged and disassembling pallets, to evaluating usable pieces.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle pallets using multiple types of small and large equipment.
- Partner with another Dismantler to operate production equipment and precision to provide consistent quality of all pallets.
- Perform inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Control and adjust equipment settings as needed.
- Evaluate pallet components to determine usability and ensure they meet PLA standards.
- Stack and store reusable components into designated areas, and properly dispose of those deemed unusable.

This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.

Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.

Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Frequent standing/walking throughout shift (8+ hours)

Regular reaching above shoulders/bending and Twisting

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Work on concrete floors, wearing steel toes boots up to 8-12 hours a day

Able to work well independently or as a member of a team

A self-starter, organized, detail oriented, analytical, motivated and a capable problem solver
Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED preferred

Good communication skills

1-2 years’ experience preferred but not required

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
