Your role on the team:
- Coordinates distribution and warehousing in a cross dock operation
- Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in the area.
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees.
- Reviews costs and making changes/recommendations to maintain and enhance profitable operation of divisions.
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees.
- Participates in marketing and sales efforts, ensuring assigned facilities have the resources necessary to meet company goals and objectives, as well as P&L responsibilities.
- Supervises several warehouse positions to include Team Leaders and Operations Supervisor
- For food accounts, incumbent is responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and training
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

About This PositionSupervise all aspects of Distribution Center/Warehouse operations in providing commissary operations and services to assigned locations.

- Perform and report weekly audit of high security items
- Process and manage the submission of weekly time sheets for submission to payroll and maintain attendance calendars and employee files for staff

- High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for working in many different areas of our fulfillment operation in order to deliver a “wow” experience to our customers. - Accurately and efficiently locate and pick products from inventory for the fulfillment of customer orders
- Prepare and measure product for embroidery customization
- Fold and bag textile and apparel products to prepare for shipment
- Inspect, clean, and finish embroidered products
- Execute quality control inspections at every step of the fulfillment process and contribute to the accuracy of our inventory
- Learn the ins and outs of Weezie’s customization, automation, and fulfillment processes
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse

All About The RoleThis position will have responsibility for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the Regional Distribution Center. You will provide direction and leadership to all distribution functions including maintenance, shipping, receiving and safety to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting quality and delivery commitments. You will be responsible for developing and managing a world-class global appliance hi-performance distribution operation strategy tied to ESMA goals and objectives for on time delivery of all orders whether emergency, rush, and routine, balanced by corporate inventory turnover expectations.
Where You'll BeThis position will be based in Fairburn GA; this role is onsite.
What You'll Do- Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Ensure the effective operational capability of the facility, driving improvements in operational capabilities, efficiencies and quality.
- Manage the operating costs of equipment and other assets, including management of maintenance and capital costs and budgets to assure acceptable return on investment.
- Oversee the budgeting process for the facility and monitor departmental performance against established budgets to meet financial objectives. Also drive cost outs through the facility as well as Transportation.
- Coach, mentor and develop employees, both direct and indirect reports, assuring effective teamwork and individual effectiveness within the organization.
- Work closely with Inventory Control, Demand Flow and Supply, Planning Sales and Sales, HR and Fulfillment.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Process Metrics/Measurements while ensuring successful shipment of month end order volume spikes.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications- 5+ years of supervisory experience in the field or a related area.
- Bachelor's degree from accredited 4-year university, preferred.
- Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated team building and motivational competencies.
- Experience with strategic planning and problem solving.
- Proven background in reducing costs, improving processes, managing change and people to continuously improve and grow an operation.
- Knowledge and experience using WMS and Transportation Management Systems/WMS for load planning, routing and optimization of outbound shipments for with service and cost as key factors
