WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Print and sort pick tickets to fulfill orders and match up with packing list and carton shipping label
- Audit complete orders to assure 100% quality
- Construct boxes according to size required for order and place appropriate documentation and label on/in box
- Fill void space in boxes to prepare for shipment and assure box is properly sealed
- Manifest and load orders for shipment
- Sort products by location, product number and description. Label product and restock product
- Perform job task as assigned by Manager
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Restock workstation with appropriate supplies as needed
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
- Comply with company, OSHA, and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace
- Receive packages specific to contracts and individuals and sort and store according to procedures
- Work to maintain appropriate inventory levels and accuracy
- Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately
- Experience working in shipping/receiving preferred. Galls will train!
- Computer proficiency, and ability to learn new skills - prior Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel experience preferred

This position is responsible for the operation of Supply storerooms to include receiving, shipping, packaging, inspection, safeguarding, issue, preserving for storage and transferring of stock to include tools, parts, raw materials, assemblies, instruments, equipment, and other supplies in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, applicable Government Agencies, and aircraft manufactures as contained in approved Maintenance Manuals.
Minimum Requirements And Qualification
- A high school education or equivalent, plus one year experience in aircraft stores, material control, and/or shipping.
- Must be familiar with aircraft stock catalogues, aircraft components, parts or stock lists, etc., and be able to look up part numbers.
- Requires the ability to perform physical labor and accurately follow verbal or written instructions.
- Must be able to use hand tools and equipment such as hammers, saw, crow bars, hand and jack trucks.
- Must be able to read and write legibly.
- Must have working knowledge of operation of a motor vehicle, fork lift, etc.
- Must possess some knowledge of handling, transporting, shipping, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal as related to the job assignment.
- Must be able to operate computer equipment and programs when given proper training.

- Plans work and instructs associate personnel in shipping, receiving, issuing, and packaging as required.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights.

Responsibilities
- Prep all jobs and ensure all jobs have all materials needed and windows and doors meet quality standards and have proper extra's (grids, tempered glass etc.) before they go out
- Organize all materials - structural mulls, interior trim, PT lumber and brickmould. Cut as needed prior to job and materials being given to a crew
- Help with ordering all miscellaneous materials for installers and service techs, try to source the most cost-effective materials we can
- Help with monthly inventory count
- Safeguard all inventory and supplies
- Receive all materials, check for accuracy, and notify management of any issues
- Set up and take down displays at events, rent truck as needed
- Keep warehouse and outside areas clean and organized
- Pick up and deliver materials to job sites as needed
- Perform caps and covers on jobs if needed
- Counts, examines and otherwise verifies packaging and contents for conformance to company specifications.
- Compares items packed with customer's order and other identifying data.
- Examines delivery schedule to determine in which order products will be delivered.
- Determines how product should be loaded and secured in vehicle based on product mix and delivery schedule.
- Loads and secures products in vehicles in cooperation with crew of loaders. Scans delivery label to document placement of product onto vehicle for delivery. Other duties may be assigned.
