Essential Job Duties
- Repairs equipment including pumps, chemical feeders, valves and specialized equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.
- Performs annual maintenance at plants including but not limited to cleaning and painting of water treatment basins and painting of equipment.
- Performs electrical repairs including wiring of electric motors, switches, and panels.
- Troubleshoots electrical problems including checking and repairing control circuits.
- Serves as a shift relief as needed, assuming full authority, duties and responsibilities of position that is being filled.

Physical and Environmental Conditions
Ability to sit, stand and transport self from building to building. Ability to drive a vehicle to and from various work sites. Employee will work in a seasonal temperatures bending, kneeling, twisting and climbing. Employee can work with potential mechanical, chemical and electrical hazards. Employee may be exposed to communicable diseases while handling raw sewage. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs, climb stairs and open access hatches. Must be able to climb 50 ft ladders and work effectively at that height. Must be able to wear an SCBA.
Required Qualifications

The CBT partial is our largest partial hospital program which treats adults ages 18+ who are struggling with depression, anxiety and other mood related symptoms. Our DBT Partial program is a highly sought after program with one of our largest wait lists. Patients are ages 18+, female/female identifying/non-binary and treatment is heavily focused on the fundamentals of DBT in a partial hospital setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician to work alongside highly talented Psychiatrists, Prescribing Nurses, Occupational Therapists and other Program Therapists as part of our outstanding team!
Job duties include initial psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, outside collaboration with providers/schools, and family meetings. This role includes treatment of young Adults, Adults, Older Adults, patients in the LGBTQ+ communities, those on the Autism Spectrum, those with co-occurring substance use concerns, Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, distress tolerance issues, interpersonal relationship issues and other psychiatric concerns.
The program operates Monday through Friday and the program therapist schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

- Education : Master's Degree in related field required

VCU Health is seeking authentic, passionate and inspiring candidates to staff a virtually-enabled Hospital-at Home and Remote Patient Monitoring program, housed in the health system's Continuum Integration Center in north Richmond.
Located in contemporary offices on Richmond's Northside, this on-site position will support the continued growth and development of a robust VCU Health at Home strategy, including 24/7 acute virtual monitoring of individuals enrolled in the VCUHS Hospital at Home program, transitional remote patient monitoring, and triage support for both high-risk ambulatory and post-discharge patients across VCU Health System Hospitals.
The focus of the position is:
- To ensure quality virtual nursing, triage, and coordination of care for both acute and post-acute patients throughout the VCU Health System.
- To ensure quality patient care across the continuum, reduce avoidable readmissions, and improve outcomes for both acute inpatients and the highest risk discharged individuals from VCU Health System.
- To provide quality acute/inpatient level of virtual support to the visiting healthcare team including triage of calls, virtual medication administration, virtual visits, telephone outreaches, education, and escalation of services both clinical and non-clinical.
- To ensure acute inpatient individuals are receiving appropriate services during their Hospital at Home stay including but not limited to therapy, food, consultative, mobile imaging, labs, and medical equipment.
- To provide high level nursing care through the ability to perform phone triage and intervene or escalate appropriately using critical thinking skills for both inpatients and complex adult and/or geriatric patient populations.
- To ensure patients and/or caregivers are confident and comfortable in self-care management through use of virtual teach back education strategies.
- To ensure appropriate screening of patients in need of continuum integration services prior to hospital discharge including but not limited to transitional remote patient monitoring and telehealth virtual visits.
- To provide direct bedside patient education and consultation on continuum integration services as needed.
- To provide community resources appropriately in order to prevent un-necessary hospital readmissions by collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team such as home health or social services.

VCU Health is seeking authentic, passionate and inspiring candidates to staff a virtually-enabled Hospital-at Home and Remote Patient Monitoring program, housed in the health system's Continuum Integration Center in north Richmond.
Located in contemporary offices on Richmond's Northside, this on-site position will support the continued growth and development of a robust VCU Health at Home strategy, including 24/7 acute virtual monitoring of individuals enrolled in the VCUHS Hospital at Home program, transitional remote patient monitoring, and triage support for both high-risk ambulatory and post-discharge patients across VCU Health System Hospitals.
The focus of the position is:
- To ensure quality virtual nursing, triage, and coordination of care for both acute and post-acute patients throughout the VCU Health System.
- To ensure quality patient care across the continuum, reduce avoidable readmissions, and improve outcomes for both acute inpatients and the highest risk discharged individuals from VCU Health System.
- To provide quality acute/inpatient level of virtual support to the visiting healthcare team including triage of calls, virtual medication administration, virtual visits, telephone outreaches, education, and escalation of services both clinical and non-clinical.
- To ensure acute inpatient individuals are receiving appropriate services during their Hospital at Home stay including but not limited to therapy, food, consultative, mobile imaging, labs, and medical equipment.
- To provide high level nursing care through the ability to perform phone triage and intervene or escalate appropriately using critical thinking skills for both inpatients and complex adult and/or geriatric patient populations.
- To ensure patients and/or caregivers are confident and comfortable in self-care management through use of virtual teach back education strategies.
- To ensure appropriate screening of patients in need of continuum integration services prior to hospital discharge including but not limited to transitional remote patient monitoring and telehealth virtual visits.
- To provide direct bedside patient education and consultation on continuum integration services as needed.
- To provide community resources appropriately in order to prevent un-necessary hospital readmissions by collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team such as home health or social services.
