- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Highly organized with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Strong collaborative nature and ability to work across functions with multiple business partners.
- Advanced understanding of programmatic and a strong sense of the adtech industry at-large.

At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $210,000-$40,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.

Wellspring Philanthropic Fund seeks a Program Director to lead the GCR Program through its next phase of impact. The Program Director will be based in the Washington, DC office and will report directly to President John Taylor and Vice President Myles Taylor.
The Program Director’s primary responsibilities are as follows:

- Present and explain sets of proposed grantees and levels of funding, and then ensure that identified strategies are effectively implemented across the full scope of the Program’s portfolio of work
- Grantmaking Oversight and Support
- Oversee deployment of the Program’s grant funds, consistent with approved budgets and strategies, and ensure adherence to internal grantmaking processes
- Provide support for and oversight of the team’s engagement with prospective and actual grantees, including meetings, site visits, proposal solicitation and refinement, and monitoring and evaluation
- External Relationship-Building
- Build relationships in the field, both on the ground in communities and through affinity groups and other formal and informal avenues, representing Wellspring and donors at program-related meetings and other events
- Maintain a high level of policy expertise on issues related to the Program, including but not limited to those with a geographic focus on Africa, Latin America, and the US
- Organizational and Team Leadership
- Lead and collaborate closely with the Program’s four-person team, providing overall strategic direction, support, and guidance to the staff, and actively supporting the professional growth and development of the team members
- As a member of Wellspring’s Management Team and the Program Management Team, support the development and implementation of organizational initiatives, priorities, and policies, and foster healthy working relationships within the team and across Wellspring
- Serve as a bridge between the Program staff and Wellspring’s leadership, the Management/Program Management Teams, the Chief Operating Officer, the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and the Learning & Evaluation, Grants Management, and Administrative teams
The ideal candidate will have the following professional and personal qualities, skills, and characteristics:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience (at least 5 of those in a leadership position) with an international NGO or foundation focused on international children’s rights
- Experience working globally, particularly in Africa and Latin America, as well as in the US; a focus on issues related to girls is preferred
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders, including advocates, funders, grantees, donors, internal staff, and others
- Cultural competence, respect, open-mindedness, and strong listening skills
- Effective public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential donor information with complete discretion
- Ability to think strategically and establish goals and priorities that will be included in a multi-year workplan for the Program
- Understanding and embodiment of Wellspring values, including humility and teamwork
- Ability to travel domestically and globally (up to 25%)
- An advanced degree (or relevant experience) is preferred, but not required

The annual salary for this role will be $210,000-$50,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

What you will Do : Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement a forward-looking PR strategy that directly supports sales and product marketing goals. Collaborate closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to align PR campaigns with GTM plans, product launches, and revenue- driving initiatives. Identify key messaging opportunities and create integrated communication plans that amplify product value propositions. Media & Influencer Relations Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, analysts, and industry influencers. Secure high-impact media coverage, trade publications, and digital platforms for business specifics content . Work with the Head of Corporate Communications to prepare executives for media engagements, interviews, and speaking opportunities. Content Development Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, bylined articles, blog posts, and thought leadership content. Ensure messaging consistency across all external communications and brand touchpoints. Crisis & Issues Management Work with Head of Corporate Communication on crisis communication PR response strategies to ensur e timely and transparent communication. Contribute to crisis communication plan in collaboration with communications, legal and executive leadership. Measurement & Reporting Track and analyze PR campaign performance using KPIs aligned with business objectives . Provide regular reporting and insights on media coverage, campaign performance, and industry engagement metrics. You need to have : Bachelor's degree in public relations , Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 10 + years of experience in public relations, preferably in a B2B or tech-driven environment. Proven success in developing PR strategies that support sales and product marketing goals. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Proven leadership experience, including collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong media network and experience managing agency partners. You’ll manage our PR agency, build relationships with key reporters, and oversee press announcements, media briefings, and events. You’ll also develop and execute communication strategies that support executive visibility, align internal messaging, and reinforce our brand across channels. Media Relations: Manage relationships with our PR agency to ensure high-quality, impactful media coverage Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries, including radio, television, print, and social media. Forge and maintain strong relationships with key press contacts and media outlets Draft, edit, and oversee the distribution of press releases, articles, and other communications materials across multiple platforms. Provide regular updates to leadership on PR activities and outcomes. What do you bring to the table? Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, and/or marketing, with a proven track record of success in these areas. Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deep understanding of media relations and digital media strategies. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and working with executives. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Experience in technology, Generative AI, or SaaS industries. Familiarity with digital media and social media platforms.
