Compensation

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between 125,000 and 140,000/year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other factors as permitted by law.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Site Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and executing the material planning, supply planning, scheduling, and execution activities within a specific site or facility. This role ensures efficient and effective supply chain operations, contributing to overall business objectives and customer satisfaction while optimizing costs and resources at the site level.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and oversee the material planning, supply planning, scheduling, and execution processes at the site level, utilizing advanced analytical techniques, tools, and systems.
  • Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics for the site, such as inventory levels, lead times, on time deliveries, and production efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage site level supply chain projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, effective resource allocation and timely execution.
  • Drive improvement for the planning and purchasing teams in the areas of material productivity, cost reduction, inventory reduction, customer service performance, supplier performance, inventory accuracy, lead time, etc.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure reliable services for the site.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to address supply disruptions at the site, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
  • Hire, manage, develop and mentor operational team members.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team at the site, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and a performance driven mindset.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, customer service, quality, and logistics.
  • Manage and oversee the transportation of commodities via rail, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
  • Support all general safety, food safety and pharmaceutical requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain management, with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop site-level plans and forecast models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high performing teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain systems, tools, technologies, including MRP and advanced analytics platforms. Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and methodologies at the site level.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

PHYISICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Primarily office-based work with occasional visits to manufacturing areas (PPE required).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Use of hands and arms to reach for and handle objects.

Job Overview:

Responsible for supply chains in different countries around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global supply chain layout: formulate overseas supply chain strategies, optimize procurement networks (tea/cups/equipment), establish a multi-regional supplier backup mechanism, and reduce the risk of supply interruption.
  • Supplier management: screen and evaluate local high-quality suppliers, negotiate annual procurement agreements (price/credit period/quality standards), and promote suppliers to pass BRC, ISO and other certifications.
  • Cost and efficiency control: monitor indicators such as inventory turnover rate and procurement cost ratio, introduce VMI (vendor managed inventory) model, and coordinate cross-border logistics to reduce transportation losses.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Business-level proficiency in English and Mandarin is required due to the nature of the role involving frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or partners.

  • Cross-border supply chain management experience.
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage industry or FMCG.
  • Can independently handle international procurement contracts and customs documents, and have the ability to collaborate across time zones.
  • Candidates with supply chain certifications such as CSCP and CPIM are preferred, and are good at using management systems such as SAP and Oracle.

This individual will spearhead our global supply chain strategy, focusing on the seamless delivery and distribution of our products. By establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, the Supply Chain Manager will ensure the efficient movement and storage of goods across our global supply chain, contributing to our brand's dynamic growth.

This position will work with internal and external partners to address issues and concerns and continually look for ways to improve the processes and systems. Internally, this role will engage with cross-functional partners including (but not limited to): Supply Chain, Customer Care, Store Operations, Finance, Technology, and Analytics.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a passion for the golfing lifestyle to help propel Malbon into its next phase of growth.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service levels.

- Manage negotiations and oversee contracts for air, ocean, ground, and parcel freight to optimize our logistics network.

- Collaborate with supply planning teams to guarantee timely delivery of inbound Purchase Orders through cutting-edge visibility tools.

- Direct the strategy for product movement and carrier sourcing for both domestic and international logistics, utilizing various transportation modes.

- Design and enforce procedures to monitor and manage logistics costs company-wide, aiming for cost reductions without compromising service.

- Implement governance and auditing processes to assess vendor performance and foster continuous improvement.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to refine our logistics operations and strategies.

- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the company's logistics needs.

- Manage and optimize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to improve supply chain visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Leverage experience in fashion and direct-to-consumer (D2C) eCommerce to enhance supply chain operations, particularly in inventory management, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, including strategic planning and execution.

- Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international logistics operations, including parcel, ground, air, and ocean freight.

- Strong project management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Proven track record of implementing strategic logistics operations and developing innovative solutions.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to discuss complex issues effectively with senior management.

- Data-driven decision-making ability and experience in strategic recommendations.

- Experience in leading large-scale, global projects with a collaborative and influential approach.

- Shopify eCommerce platform experience

- Proficiency in Google Suite + Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)

- Fashion industry experience and familiarity with D2C eCommerce platforms are highly valued.

- Experience with iSyncSolutions or other ERP/PLM platforms is a plus

- Passion of learning and leveraging emerging technology IE: AI, Machine Learning

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20-25% required).
