The responsibility of a Finance Professional is to provide financial/accounting assistance to the manager and senior staff of the location. They will work predominantly within Accounts Receivable and Collections. They will ensure that the portfolio of their 200+ clients within Residential Power is not past due and there are no outstanding invoices. They will use SAP to procure and receive invoices and release hold orders as needed. Daily responsibilities will be trained and then managed from the entire portfolio perspective for outstanding work items. The Finance team is collaborative, but also do want this person to work well independently.

**Job Description**
Mission: Manage administrative processes related to compliance of contracts with airline and Lessor customers for the supply of Thrust related products and associated business processes.
? Review administration of contracts with Airlines/Lessors for the sale and compliance of Thrust related products.
o Understand and track the implementation of purchase orders, payments, and product deliveries, as well as all other financial transactions with the Airlines/Lessors.
o Develop, implement, and maintain, Thrust account reconciliation forecasts for financial flows between CFM and Airlines/Lessors for use during periodic management meeting.
o Report out status of financial flows to team stakeholders.
o Validate part number ordered is authorized or allowed before release of thrust plug orders placed through the Spare Parts organization
o Track return of rating plugs to the CFMM facility.
o Communicate with customer teams any discrepant thrust related policies and plugs found non-compliant.
? Coordinate and liaison with key actors from GE as well as Safran Aircraft Engines involved in the processing of thrust related terms and conditions
o Establish working relationship and effective lines of communication
o Create and participate in periodic meetings to ensure task completion.
o Promote sharing of information and process improvement with key actors involved in the process.
? Develop and provide any required contractual terms and conditions, financial analysis and data for periodic reviews and various management reports and be able to present such information to stakeholders.
o Maintain data in databases, contract repositories and information systems.
o Perform other contract management activities, including review, tracking, interpretation, and other related projects.
o Implement and manage special projects, as needed, related to process improvements for the organization.
? Implement the financial / administrative transactions for airline / lessor customer contracts for sale of products to support the operation of aircraft engines:
o Create quotes for non-compliant situations, process customer purchase orders, acknowledgements to customers, and various related suppliers purchase order flow down tasks.
o Maintain detailed tracking of process steps and measuring and reporting its performance against applicable metrics.
o With customer team, manage and administer the terms and conditions of the airline customer contract, including detailed contract review and any related calculations required.
? If requested, support sales and legal teams as required during proposal and contract negotiations with airline/lessor customers.
? Complete company required training as well as training for an individual growth plan.
**Job Requirements**
? Bachelor's degree
? 1-5 years relevant work experience, preferably in a finance related role
? Must possess excellent communication with all business levels
? Must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
? Must be proactive, able to work independently and able to work under deadlines
? Must be a team player, and able to work close contact with other team members.
? Demonstrated ability to work in an international work environment is a plus
? Must be able to travel occasionally (including internationally)
? High Proficiency with Office, in particular Excel and Power Point
? Prior Salesforce experience is a plus

Must Haves:
- Have to be able to handle large volumes - 50 min. accounts / 3 million spend.

- This position is responsible for securing AR for the company.
- Candidates must be local to San Diego, as this is currently a hybrid work model.
- Strong focus on analytical/critical thinking, account reconciliation skills, good communication skills, as well as providing customer service to our internal and external customers.
- The position requires employees to contact customers via phone/email/mail, create and send manual invoice(s) electronically or overnight mail as requested following company protocol, research and resolve customer disputes/concerns in a timely manner, escalate accounts for non-payment, provide customer service to customers seeking information on their invoices/accounts receivable balances.
- The employee may also perform additional duties as needed.
- Primary responsibility for monitoring accounts receivable balances; perform collection functions on assigned accounts; resolve customer issues related to non-payment; conduct payment negotiation, & reconcile accounts as needed to determine action needed.
- Escalates accounts, as necessary.
- Works closely with Contracts, Credit, Billing, Database, Asset Management, Reconciliation team, and Accounts Receivable areas to identify and resolve issues affecting timely account payment.

- Collection Activities:
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates, communicate with customers in a positive and friendly manner, identify issues attributing to account delinquency, work closely with Asset Management Team, and other teams as needed, maintain appropriate documentation of issues in the SharePoint/SAP notes system, perform reconciliations as necessary to resolve issues affecting timely payment, negotiate payment plans on delinquent accounts, review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collections reports, provide timely follow up on payment arrangements, maintain required level of documentation on collection efforts, escalate delinquent accounts as per the escalation protocol, complete all reports on delinquent accounts by the established deadlines, and other duties as determined by management.
- Work with other departments to ensure process and policy consistency and effectiveness among areas, proactively seek ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of Pyxis processes, maintain a general knowledge of all Pyxis products, and perform other duties as requested.
