**The Opportunity**
As a Manager in the Amended Return Center ("ARC"), we will look to you to apply your corporate and partnership income tax knowledge to a wide range of tax compliance engagements and support our US team in essential engagement processes. **Your Key Responsibilities**
As a Manager you will provide timely and high-quality work products to various internal and external clients. You will be tasked with supervising a motivated team of professionals in our Global Delivery Services ("GDS") team in India as a detail reviewer of tax returns. This includes providing review notes and guidance on returns, as well as mentoring and team-building support, guaranteeing they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential. You will identify potential opportunities and risks while reviewing tax returns and communicating these to the senior manager team. You will work on various special projects (such as tax research), when assigned. In addition, you will be responsible for overall project execution and have direct communication with clients.
**Skills and attributes for Success**
· Analyze specific issues in the review of c-corp and partnership amended federal and state income tax returns, based on ARC's established process and guidance
· Apply technical tax knowledge when questions from GDS staff arise
· Follow up on the status of deliverables, analyze the issues preventing completion and work with others to problem solve
· Execute tasks in continuous improvement projects to drive improved quality, visibility, efficiency and client experience, including analyzing current process performance and how to improve it

**To qualify for the role you must have**
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related business major
· Experience managing a team
· 6-8 years' experience in corporate and partnership/flow-through tax return preparation and review, preferably with experience in both federal and state taxation
· CPA or EA certification
**Ideally you'll also have**
· Strong analytical skills, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to details
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and IT concepts

Job Responsibilities- Indirect tax return filing (state and federal)
- Controls and process improvements related to indirect tax filing
- Indirect tax matters in the customer onboarding process
- Create and update indirect tax filing instructions
- Design, implement and document indirect tax compliance related processes
- Manage and control counterparty licenses and certificates
- Manage master data in the tax engine.

- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience from an audit, tax consultancy, law firm, in-house indirect tax function and/or authority side.
- Experience in excise tax and sales tax return filing in the US within the Oil and Gas industry.
