What a BOP Tools Tech Lead does:

This position plays a leading role in assisting with coordinating the day-to-day, task-orientated activities of the BOP Tools Technician department. This includes knowledge of the repair and certification process including documentation for all BOP's and/or downhole tools utilized in the district. Assists with ensuring tools, supplies and other job requirements are available and reliable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for high level knowledge and servicing of all blow out preventers, pack offs, reel swivels, lubricators, iron and down hole tools.
  • Responsible for performing and documenting all pressure tests for components after service.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of current processes and procedures and participates in training offered.
  • Organizes and maintains the facility, including the testing station and storeroom.
  • Assists management in developing a preventive maintenance system for these components.
  • Assists in support and training of procedures to ensure consistent practices and processes are followed.
  • Assists with monitoring of on-site Team Members duties, workload and performance and provides feedback to direct and indirect reports
  • Assists manager with inventory related duties.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of oil field experience. Includes servicing BOP's and or downhole tools
  • Valid Driver's license with a clear record for at least 3 years.
  • Experience in managing expendable materials inventory.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent safety awareness.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize duties.
  • Available and willing to travel.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.

**Job Summary**
The Medical Lab Tech Lead works under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor. Applies broad practical and theoretical knowledge of Clinical Chemistry, Immunology and Special Chemistry in the activities of the Chemistry Laboratory. The Medical Laboratory Tech Lead is a resource person for the technologists in the department. Performs other duties as assigned.
**Essential Functions**
+ Follows all Laboratory and Hospital safety policies.
+ Operates all department equipment safely and according to procedure.
+ Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots instrument failures to best of ability alerting proper personnel of equipment problems.
+ Follows all department QC procedures and troubleshoots QC failures with proper documentation.
+ Maintains technical competency and seeks clarification when necessary.
+ Effectively utilizes all necessary LIS functions.
+ Assists Supervisor in maintaining adequate inventory of reagents and supplies necessary for testing.
+ Meets performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization and staff development.
+ Accounts for all specimens on the pending log and relays courses of action to other section shifts.
+ Prioritizes activities to accommodate workflow fluctuations.
+ Writes/revises department procedures and protocols in conjunction with the laboratory supervisor.
+ Demonstrates intuitive planning and follow-up of projects.
+ Recognizes and analyzes problems effectively, informs supervisory staff/appropriate personnel of situations or problems requiring attention.
+ Maintains inventory for supplies and submits purchase requests as applicable.
+ Assists with Quality Control programs and evaluations.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
+ Associate Degree Medical Technology or physical, chemical, or biological sciences required
+ 2-4 years clinical laboratory experience required
+ 2-4 years hospital experience preferred

+ Knowledge of laboratory and quality control procedures.
+ Ability to analyze complex data with strong problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly records.

**Job Description:**
The Sr. Engineer will join the Facility Group to manage, plan, direct, and coordinate facility project activities to ensure projects are accomplished within the approved scope, budget, and schedule. The Sr. Engineer will oversee facility projects of varying sizes and complexity, ranging from greenfield/new construction to major renovations and minor upgrades of existing facilities. This position requires the ability to manage projects from the conceptual engineering phase through construction completion. Interaction with all Grifols' Departments, Vendors, and Contractors is critical for project success. The Sr. Engineer independently performs most assignments and provides direction for the project team to achieve facility project objectives and ensure resources are utilized efficiently. The position requires an understanding of project requirements to ensure projects are in compliance with cGMP design, applicable codes, and environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Manage facility project design and construction by coordinating, reviewing, and administering the work of Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors.
+ Create cost management solutions for facility projects. Manage vendors, engineers, and consultants to ensure facility projects are completed on budget and per schedules.
+ Responsible for project management, project planning, budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and project cost analyses.
+ Review and evaluate bid proposals/estimates with procurement.
+ Manage facility projects and project planning efforts, including both new installations and upgrades to existing facilities.
+ Ensure projects are in compliance with local/state/federal codes and regulations, including OSHA, FDA, Fire, Building/Safety, etc.
+ Track and evaluate critical data to recommend continuous process improvement.
+ Maintain communication between department management and all cross-functional teams.
