Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Stage Manager with daily calls, scheduling, and communication.
- Help set up and break down rehearsal and performance spaces.
- Assist with the organization and tracking of props, costumes, and set pieces.
- Run errands as needed for the production team.
- Provide general support to the technical crew (lighting, sound, scenic).
- Assist with backstage duties during performances.
- Maintain a tidy and safe backstage environment.
- Distribute and collect scripts and production paperwork.
- Take notes during rehearsals and production meetings as required.
- Be present and available during specified rehearsal and performance times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in theatre production or a related field is a plus.
