Leads work group of employees in the production area. Emphasizes and requires safety and compliance with all state and federal laws & regulations in the performance of all work. Develops employees and promotes a work climate where they do their best. Leads by example fostering an atmosphere of trust and cooperation. Openly communicates information to others. Works with other supervisors and members of management to coordinate the use of Company resources in keeping with established policies, procedures, and plant priorities.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Assist employees when they need help.
+ Walk long distances, climb ladders and stairs, order supplies
+ Manage their shift, trouble shoot process and mechanical problems
+ Work closely with the Department Superintendent
+ Complete timely paper work
+ Conduct department audits and employee safety audits
+ Give daily tool box safety meetings
+ Supervise hourly employees.

**Education/Training/Experience:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment and tools used in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing structures and systems.

+ ADM safety orientation and ongoing OSHA required plant safety training.

Establish quality assurance processes and metrics to assess the performance, reliability, and usability of technology solutions deployed by the DC Government.
