As a CBRE Union Utility Engineer, you will assist and support stationary engineers during service, preventative maintenance, installations, modifications/repairs, inspection of all building and HVAC equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO:**
+ Perform work and tasks assigned in a timely manner while using the CMMS work order system.
+ Maintaining and servicing restroom equipment (toilets, sinks, soap dispensers)
+ Pond maintenance (adding chemicals, cleaning pump baskets, netting leaves)
+ Hanging of framed objects (pictures, whiteboards)

What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ's and upcoming projects for go/no go potential
- Direct and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQ's.
- Manage existing and develop new client relationships

The pay range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000. We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our Supply Chain team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you are located at the crossroads of Oura Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain. You will work alongside our design teams and process engineers, facilitating the development and eventual ramp of NPI programs, supporting the mission critical goal of developing high quality components and assemblies which are both manufacturable and scalable.
Job requirements include setting up quality systems at suppliers to ensure good data is collected and analyzed for program critical decision making as well as creating long term strategies to help continuously improve the Oura Supply Chain. You will plan, develop and implement measurement methods, control plans, and other supply quality engineering processes to help ensure the part and product quality - all the way from concept phase through high volume mass production in a complex, global scale supply chain. You will be a liaison between the suppliers and designers, championing a culture of quality on behalf of Oura and our customers.
You'll collaborate closely with our operations team and program managers to plan and execute each NPI build, while also shaping and refining both the process and the product. A strong background in manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing (DFM) is essential for success in this role.
What you will do:
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through development builds, ramp-up, mass production, and steady state expansion efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, design, and operations, to drive Oura's supplier quality engineering initiatives
- Develop and implement scalable manufacturing processes, quality systems, and yield improvement strategies
- Lead build readiness reviews, focusing on quality deliverables such as equipment readiness, process qualification, and post-build quality data analysis to facilitate component design and process improvements
- Identify and effectively communicate design and process risks, using data-driven approaches to facilitate discussions and improvements across Oura teams and suppliers
- Analyze and evaluate data to establish appropriate component spec limits including cosmetic, dimensional, functional/reliability as well as establish process controls limits
- Scale up suppliers and processes to meet production goals, including yield targets, line capacity (UPH), process capability (CPK), and other equipment and headcount requirements
- Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance
This is a US Hybrid role located in the San Francisco Metro Area, candidates must be in-office 3 days per week.

Description
CKC Automation develops automated manufacturing equipment, specializing in the design and build of custom systems. Mechanical assembly position will involve building custom automated machinery, from the ground up. The assembler will be responsible for mounting tooling plates to frames, installing actuators, and mounting machined parts. The assembler will also be responsible for mounting sensors and pneumatic components, and doing on-machine plumbing and wire routing. The assembler will also be responsible for fabricating and assembling guarding enclosures, along with all other aspects of building a custom machine. Some projects will be building a single machine, and other projects will involve building 10 or more of the same machine. Each project will be different and will require a high level of flexibility from the assembler, who will work closely with the engineering team.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly of custom machinery, including precision assembly using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage blocks and parallels
- Assembly of mechanical systems including machined parts, motors, actuators, sensors and other industrial hardware
- Assembly and plumbing of pneumatic systems, including solenoid valves and pneumatic actuators
- Route wires and cables on-machine, for professional appearance
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and debug of custom equipment
- Assist with installation of custom machinery at client facilities
- Fabrication of custom parts using manual mill and lathe
- Other tasks as directed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience with precision mechanical assembly of industrial machinery
- 1+ years of experience with manual machining using manual mill and lathe
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Applicant must provide his/her own tools
- Good organizational and housekeeping skills
- Basic computer skills
- Capable of working independently on several tasks simultaneously
- Must have good interpersonal skills needed to interact with personnel from a wide range of disciplines and management levels

Duties:
- Executes routine unit operations in Visual Inspection as assigned related to the manufacturing of drug product in a multi-product facility.
- Performs duties under limited supervision and according to standard operating and manufacturing procedures.
- Executes independently with adequate training, complex fundamental operations as visual inspection, advance visual inspection, palletizing, cleaning, inspection hood prep for operations, BioMES Operations and Exceptions.
- Performs internal support duties including assisting drug product filling and packaging.

- 1 or more years of experience in cGMP regulated industry.
- Ability to concentrate on detail-oriented work in a complex technical setup with a Quality and "Right the first-time" mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with computer-based systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Ability to read and understand SOPs and instructions and document work in a written format applying cGMP standards.
- Ability to work as part of a high performing team and collaborate effectively with staff.
- Must be able to read and see clearly.
- Duties of this position may require the incumbent to exert some physical effort.
- Lifting requirements may vary dependent on the drug product manufacturing visual inspection area activity. Weight is typically no more than 25 pounds.
- Employees required to participate and have acceptable result from vision testing including color blindness.
