Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of a Temporary Security Flex Officer .
The Temporary Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A Temporary Security Flex Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access control: Monitoring and controlling entry points to Amazon offices and facilities, checking employee badges, and managing visitor access.
- Surveillance: Operating security cameras and monitoring systems to detect any
suspicious activities or security breaches. - Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of employees
and property. - Emergency response: Being prepared to respond to various emergencies, such as fires,
medical situations, or security threats. - Reporting: Documenting incidents, maintaining logs, and reporting any security
concerns to management. - Enforcing policies: Ensuring compliance with company security policies and
procedures. - Screening: Conducting security screenings of personnel and packages entering the
facilities. - Liaison with law enforcement: Cooperating with local law enforcement agencies when
necessary. - Technology management: Operating and monitoring electronic security systems.
Customer service: Providing assistance and information to employees and visitors in a
professional manner. - Asset protection: Safeguarding company assets, including intellectual property and
physical equipment. - Training and drills: Participating in regular security training and emergency drills.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age to qualify.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Two (2) consecutive years of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience within the last 7 years.

The Public Safety Technical Consultant is a key member of the Oracle Public Safety implementation team responsible for assisting customers in migrating historical data to the Oracle public safety solution. Part of this results-oriented role will include planning, executing, and validating data migrations, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the implementation. Candidates for this role should be excited about pushing the boundaries of traditional data migrations and adopting new technologies and tools to accomplish successful customer outcomes. This role requires the ability to adapt to change quickly, a drive for results, and a "never satisfied" mentality. You will be an early team member of this fast-growing and exciting line of business at Oracle.
**Responsibilities**
**What you will do:**
+ Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define data migration requirements, objectives, and scope for each project.
+ Develop detailed data migration strategies, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments for assigned project.
+ Identify data sources, target systems, and determine the appropriate migration approach (ETL, direct transfer, etc.).
+ Work with customers to analyze and understand the structure and format of source data to ensure accurate mapping to the target system.

**What you've done:**

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Patrols facilities and property make observations to detect unauthorized persons, activities, unsafe conditions, and ensure life safety standards are maintained.
- Maintains appropriate communication with Supervisors, fellow Officers, Security Operations Center and Law Enforcement to report crimes, incidents, and safety related irregularities.
- Intervene in disputes between individuals by using verbal de-escalation techniques and skills to diffuse potentially violent patient, employee, or visitor situations.
- Investigates and document incidents through both written and electronic format as required: Safety hazards, incidents and criminal activities to Public Safety Leadership,
- Controls access to restricted organizational properties and verifies the admittance of authorized individuals. Escorts people/property to desired destination when safety of property or individuals is a concern. Assists with parking and security during special events and provides visitors with directions and security information. Performs security services and dispatcher duties when assigned.
- Participates in activities not directly related to Security operations as approved by Security Management. These may include transport and release of bodies from the morgue; patient escort; elevator recall checks; monthly fire extinguisher, panic alarm, and intercom checks; and special event setups. Interviews and investigates individuals involved in suspicious or illegal activities.
- Detains unauthorized individuals in compliance with state and federal law Officers are required to use force when appropriate to protect patients, staff and visitors at an Emory Healthcare facility.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Two (2) consecutive years of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience within the last 7 years.
2. Must have:
a. Possess(ed) a POST certification;
3. OR
a. Have been registered through a military (DD214 or current Military ID);
- All active, reserve, retired or honorable discharged military personnel will meet the licensing/certification requirement
4. OR
a. Federal, state, or local licensing firearms certification (Department of Homeland Security, NASA, NRA, GBI, or Secretary of State)
5. Must successfully complete the Basic Security Officer and Firearms course mandated by the Secretary of State within 3 months post-hire.
6. Must be able to successfully complete training to carry non-lethal weapons such as a Taser (CED) and/or a baton within 3 months post-hire
7. Must possess a valid Georgia Driver's license and have a clean driving record with no recent history of major traffic violations.
8. Must be able to operate a company vehicle when required
9. Must pass a psychological exam.
10 Must obtain IAHSS Basic certification within 12 months.
11. Obtain a BLS Certification within 12 months.
12. Complete FEMA IS 100, 200, 700 & 800 within six (6) months.
