**Key Responsibilities:**

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in law enforcement or related field
- 3+ years' experience in security or law enforcement

**What you will be doing:** You'll be responsible for coordinating the center safety program in compliance with government and management directives and federal, state and local regulations.
**Essential duties:**
1. Serve as liaison between center and immediate community in safety matters; assist in developing and maintaining the center's master safety plan include risk assessment, safety and emergency disaster plans.
2. Ensure fire extinguishers are available in required locations and in working condition at all times.
3. Provide fire and safety procedures and literature to staff and students, develop and implement safety training programs for staff and students on the center safety and health plan, conduct training for staff on OSHA standards.
4. Assist in the development of community linkages in the areas of safety. Oversee and represent the center at quarterly environmental inspections.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS** :
+ Bachelor's degree in safety or industrial hygiene.
+ Three (3) years' experience in safety or related field.
+ Experience in managing safety concepts, practices, and procedures required.
