Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or highly specialized knowledge in software development and web application technologies and 5-8 years' experience in the field of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

Execute imports of constituent-related data into Raiser's Edge, by request of internal and external stakeholders. Conduct quality control on imports so as to identify issues with import tasks under their responsibility, conducting initial investigation and raising them up for quality control review. Ticket Processes Complete requests from stakeholders for one off changes to constituent records, communicating barriers to completion and following established procedures. Serve as backup for other Fundraising Data Management team functions, including constituent imports typically handled by the Associate, Fundraising Data ManagementProject and Data Hygiene Assistance Support the Fundraising Data Management team with data hygiene initiatives and project implementations, including but not limited to supporting large scale data clean up efforts, annual duplicate merge reviews and import testing. Makes recommendations to the department lead on potential new data improvement projects that have been identified by colleague feedback, regular data review or departmental needs. The Project Data Management Analyst position will require organizational skills as well as focus and attention to detail.

The Project Data Management Analyst is a core member of the OTECH Integrated Product Support (IPS) team. The Project Data Management Analyst reports to the Configuration and Data Manager. The Project Data Management Analyst will work with all levels within the IPS organization as well as with individuals from the program and engineering staff to ensure quality support and customer satisfaction. The Project Data Management Analyst is a hybrid position located in Hanover, MD.

Duties And Responsibilities

The Project Data Management Analyst will support OTECH programs and execute the following:

ESSENTIAL:
  • Responsible for data management activities.
  • Implement high-level prioritization of requests and communicate schedules to stakeholders, including customers.
  • Create and maintain program data library asset databases.
  • Ensure timely and accurate release of deliverables and program documents.
  • Coordinate with document authors and project managers to ensure deadlines and special handling requirements are met for on-time quality delivery.
  • Provide education on naming conventions and document format standards.
  • Promote consistency in naming conventions and documentation standards across multiple projects.
  • Ensure high-quality program documentation by performing technical editing to comply with deliverable templates.
  • Identify and correct usage errors and edit deliverables for grammar, spelling, and formatting consistency.
  • Create locked working templates for Engineers and Program Managers using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Conduct all aspects of documentation management and data management for multiple projects.
  • Review and report on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to upgrading standards and best practice guidelines.
  • Develop and implement review cycle plans, ensuring proper marking of classified documents according to required standards.
  • Facilitate board meetings as needed by keeping notes and making updates based on meeting charter and process documents.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. An additional 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of data management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in program contract review to determine documentation requirements for each work product and project phase.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing documentation libraries.
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and database management.
  • Skilled in time management, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, written comprehension, information ordering, active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning.
  • Experience in providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.
  • Ability to write business correspondence and interact with others in a professional manner.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.

DESIRED:
  • Secret clearance.
  • Advanced degree in Data Management or related disciplines such as Business Administration or Business Management.
  • Ability to work independently under general direction and demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively within and outside the organization.
  • Experience editing various types of contract deliverable documents in accordance with DoD standards.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-963C, GEIA-859, and DoD 5010.12-M for Data Management.
  • Effective presentation and computer skills.



Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
