THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a highly skilled Construction/ Project Manager to lead infrastructure and lab implementation projects across North America, with a primary focus on Austin. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in facility systems, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate is an assertive leader with strong technical expertise, communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects while aligning engineering needs with operational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide subject matter expertise on infrastructure design and lab implementation for multi-generational product lines
- Evaluate project requests, assessing feasibility, budget, and timelines, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Oversee design, permitting, and construction processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage client relationships and expectations, collaborating closely with integrated facility management teams
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and reports at all project phases.
- Lead selection and oversight of consultants and construction teams, ensuring quality execution
- Monitor project progress through site visits, procurement tracking, and contractor reports
- Ensure projects adhere to corporate policies, building codes, and safety regulations
- Support continuous improvement by staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trendS

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

+ Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Key Responsibilities
- Forecasts and communicates engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers. Provides input to outsourcing decisions by performing make versus buy analysis. Coordinates demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
