We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Packer to join our team. This role plays a critical part in preparing, packaging, and ensuring the safety of our meat products for distribution.

Responsibilities

As a Meat Packer , your main responsibilities will include:
  • Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming products against purchase orders and inspect for quality.
  • Sorting & Packaging: Organize meat products by type, cut, and temperature needs; package using boxes, trays, or bags.
  • Labeling & Portioning: Accurately label and portion products according to specifications and standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate scales, vacuum sealers, and labeling machines.
  • Quality Control: Follow standard procedures for consistency, portion control, and product presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production team to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Cleanliness & Sanitation: Keep work area clean and follow all food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Inventory Support: Record packaging quantities and report discrepancies.
  • Safety First: Adhere to PPE use, safe handling of equipment, and report hazards or equipment issues.
  • Training Participation: Engage in ongoing training to stay current on food safety and quality standards.
  • Teamwork: Maintain a respectful, productive team environment.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work varied shifts to meet operational needs.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Previous experience in food packaging or warehouse environments is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and follow established processes
Skills & Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude and commitment to a safe, productive workplace
Physical Demands & Environment
  • Frequently lift, carry and package products
  • Stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods on concrete or cold storage floors.
  • Perform repetitive movements: bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting, grasping.
  • Tolerate cold temps (below ° in some areas) and varying noise levels.
  • Work in fast-paced environments requiring dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Required use of PPE (steel-toe footwear, gloves, hard hat, etc.)
  • Maintain endurance for continuous, physically demanding tasks.
  • Work around common food allergens (fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.)

Pay: $19.00hr

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated packer with a keen sense of efficiency and urgency responsible for the packing of raw materials into finished goods inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Use available resources including reveal gauges, display boards, and brochures to ensure all
  • staged material has been pulled correctly.
  • Verify the quantity of material staged versus amount required on production order
  • Document any discrepancies identified during the verification process
  • Pack raw material into the correct boxes
  • Ensure all finished materials are labeled with correct part numbers and quantity. Also check
  • production order for accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 65 principals
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures regarding proper PPE requirements, equipment usage, and
    maintenance documentation

Experience and Skills
  • One year manufacturing warehouse experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Familiar operating hand tools and measuring tape
  • Attention to detail

Physical Requirements
  • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
  • Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Repeat the same movements
  • At times dusty due to the manufacturing aspect
