Job Description
The Head of Growth Marketing will develop and execute on the firm's digital growth strategy. We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and data-driven digital marketer to lead digital acquisition, funnel development, and revenue acceleration across paid media, organic digital, and outbound marketing. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the right candidate will architect and scale proprietary full-funnel systems to attract, convert, and nurture leads while partnering across the Marketing Team and with Sales to drive pipeline development, conversions, and revenue.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing digital teams and driving revenue growth at the intersection of strategy, execution, technology, and team leadership with a strong grasp of AI-enabled tools, automation, and modern digital acquisition strategies that use rapid test, learn, and refine approaches.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company's digital growth strategy, covering multi-channel B2C and B2B programs.
- Architect sophisticated top- and mid-funnel systems that engage, educate, and convert high-intent prospects.
- Manage and grow a team of channel experts, vendors, and digital marketing specialists.
- Align closely with the CMO, Content, Brand, Sales, and integrated marketers to drive unified go-to-market execution.
- Oversee the firm's media agency relationship to get ROI and leverage insights across display, search, and social to expand Cerity Partners' reach into new platforms.
- Work with AI Lead to optimize audience targeting, creative iteration, and budget allocation.
- Own paid channel performance across funnel conversion rates, ROAS, CAC, channel attribution, CPL, and contribution to pipeline.
- Oversee organic digital, SEO, website strategy, and content performance to drive brand and discoverability.
- Lead conversion rate optimization efforts across web and landing experiences.
- Design and execute outbound programs (email, ABM, retargeting) that progress leads through the funnel.
- Partner with Technology and Development teams to build automated nurture journeys and CRM triggers, tailored to stage and persona.
- Act as a strategic growth partner to Sales, aligning outbound strategy with sales workflows to maximize conversion.
- Manage the firm's digital lead generation program for advisors, including program orientation and awareness.
- Drive funnel velocity through aligned campaigns, rapid feedback loops, and conversion-ready program development.
- Deliver insights and creative and content performance data to inform outbound messaging strategy.
- Own growth analytics from channel metrics to full-funnel attribution and revenue forecasting.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and iteration employing AI, A/B testing, and other tactics.
- Present clear, data-informed insights and attribution to the CMO and leadership team to connect marketing efforts to closed revenue.
- Support the CMO in educating and evangelizing the impact of digital marketing within the firm.
- 10+ years of experience in digital or growth marketing, with 5+ years managing a team of marketers.
- Proven track record designing and scaling full-funnel digital marketing systems with a growth mindset.
- Strong background in paid media, SEO/content, marketing automation, and lifecycle strategies.
- Demonstrated fluency in martech platforms (e.g., HubSpot, AI, CMS, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience in the wealth management/RIA/luxury services industries.
- Ability to get the most out of agencies and vendor relationships.
- A deep appreciation for brand and brand voice and visuals.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, Content, and Technology teams.
- Data-driven mindset with strong proficiency in funnel analysis, campaign measurement, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus).
- Comfort in a fluid, rapidly changing environment.
- Experience working in a matrixed, international, and/or fast-growing organization
- Experience in B2B marketing
$180,000 - $210,000
