Based in our Mansfield, MA location, you will be part of the team that produces pressure relief valves for nuclear power plants as well as valves for US Navy submarines and aircraft carriers. Safety and quality are paramount and as the mechanical engineer you will work on a variety of tasks from design/drawing changes to product enhancements, and product sizing and selection. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for valve applications. With CAD produce models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy drawings Provide technical support to internal company departments such as quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing. Tackle issues and support shop floor activities varying from material defects to valve assembly and testing. Prepare procedures (assembly, testing, qualification, etc.) and perform stress analysis for products and materials. Familiarity with product data management software and development of bill of materials. Job Description
Olsson provides multidisciplinary, preliminary, and construction design services for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects, along with industrial, sports, schools, and other site development types. As a Civil Project Engineer in either our Dallas or Fort Worth office, you will apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. The project engineer is a registered professional engineer, whose supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. The project engineer supervises, coordinates, and reviews work of engineers or technicians and performs complex or novel assignments that require development of new and improved techniques and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs process design calculations, prepares cost estimates, and uses economic analyses for comparison of alternatives.

As a Project Engineer on our Data Center Civil Team, you will be a part of the firm's largest and most complex projects. You will serve as a project manager on some projects and lead design engineer on others. Prepare planning and design documents, process design calculations, and develop and maintain team and client standards. You may lead quality assurance/quality control and act as an advisor on complex projects. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants.

AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer to provide Construction Phase Services (CPS)
to support the Fort Worth District (SWF) Engineering and Construction (E&C) in Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time, onsite position.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.

Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

Approves and signs off on work.

Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

Presents complex technical solutions to clients.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD 2D to create detailed Conceptual Layout Drawings (CLD) that lay the foundation for project development.
- Collaborate with the Application Engineer to develop comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
- Participate in equipment and product testing to ensure quality and reliability.
- Take on-site field dimensions and/or contribute to design development, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Generate Equipment Layout Drawings (ELD) in AutoCAD 2D format, providing detailed plans for equipment installation and layout.
- Maintain a Change Order Log to track modifications and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

- Generate Motor and Device (MAD) lists and Critical Controls Logic (CCL) for the system, contributing to the development of control systems.
