**Description:**
+ Reporting to the Director of Acute Care, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population.
+ The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) works under the delegated authority of a registered nurse to perform nursing functions within their scope of practice and assist the nurse in collecting data for a nursing assessment under the supervision of a nurse.
**Responsibilities:**
+ As part of a new transformational team care model to improve patient care and provide nurses and CNAs new opportunities and support, the nurse assistant will team with an experienced virtual RN (vRN) and a bedside RN to provide excellent patient care to patients in an acute care setting.
+ Daily responsibilities include direct patient care such as maintaining a safe patient environment, feeding, bathing, mobilizing patients, answering call lights, toileting, grooming care, one-to-one sitting for safety or behavioral reasons, taking vital signs, tracking intake and output with documenting values in an electronic health record.
+ The CNA may implement specific procedures and coordinates work within the department, as well as with other hospital departments
+ The CNA will assist with the admission and discharge process with the RN.
+ The CNA works collaboratively with a 3-person team consisting of the primary RN, a virtual RN and the CNA, reporting pertinent information, responding to inquiries, providing proactive bedside care/ADLs, and assist the RN with other tasks to support care of all assigned patents.
**What you will need:**
+ High School Diploma or GED required. Four years of nursing assistant experience will be accepted in lieu of a High School Diploma/GED.
+ Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing for Certified Nursing Assistant
+ BLS certification (issued by American Heart Association only)
+ Computer skills (internet, email, wireless phone, electronic health record) and technical skills (blood sugar, vital sign, and EKG machines).
+ Be physically able to pull, push, turn and position patients.
+ Superb interpersonal, customer service and collaboration abilities.
+ Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize, ability to work well with individuals and groups.
+ 1 year CNA experience preferred; experience in a hospital setting highly preferred
Pay Range: $17.58 - $23.85
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

**Description:**
The Nurse in Charge (NIC)/Nurse Supervisor is a designated clinical leader for a patient care area who works under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Department Director to plan and coordinate care at the service/department level.
**Responsibilities:**
This position is responsible and accountable for:
+ Cost effective decision-making regarding operations including utilization and application of resources. (i.e., human resources, patient care environment, supplies, etc.)
+ Directing and supervising professional and non-professional staff
+ Determining staff assignment and scheduling
+ Assuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
+ Participating in the development of patient care standards and delivery of care processes.
+ Facilitating and participating in staff development, including orientation and training.
+ Participating in performance evaluation and management including verbal coaching and counseling.
+ Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the quality improvement and safety plan.
+ Maintaining a clinical environment that demonstrates service excellence.
+ Functioning as a professional role model and resource person.
**What you will need:**
+ Current licensure by the Maryland State Board as a Registered Nurse
+ BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)
+ Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's degree in nursing preferred
+ Minimum of 3 years of specialty specific experience in an acute care setting.
+ Advanced computer skills to include data entry and retrieval, including Microsoft specialty products.
+ Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends English language.
+ Ability to effectively communicate complex and comprehensive information thoroughly and succinctly.
Pay Range: $42.20 - 61.00
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

**Description:**
+ Reporting to the Director of Acute Care, the Clinical Nurse must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population. The med-surg telemetry nurse should possess the knowledge and skill of how to safely apply the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate the care of patients with various health conditions, as well as provide care for pre-and post-surgical patients including bariatrics.
**Responsibilities:**
+ As part of a new transformational team care model to improve patient care and provide nurses and nurse assistants new opportunities and support, the nurse assistant will team with an experienced virtual RN (vRN) and a bedside RN to provide excellent patient care to patients in an acute care setting.
+ Collaborative planning, coordinating, and delivering quality care to medical, surgical and telemetry patients that are acutely ill, as well as those recovering from post-operative procedures, such as bariatric and orthopedic procedures.
+ Facilitate best practices to deliver quality care through the identification, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions and communication of results to the healthcare team.
+ Provides education to patients and their families on medical and post-surgical care.
**What you will need**
**Requirements:**
+ Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame.
+ Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
+ BLS certification required (issued through the American Heart Association)
+ Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities
+ Competency in electronic patient management systems
**Preferred:**
+ At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting
+ Certified MS-RN in nursing recommended
+ ACLS recommended
Pay Range: $35.41 - $54.19
