Purpose of the job: To provide engineering expertise and project implementation in support of the operations, finance, and business groups to ensure raw materials and product are used/produced efficiently, accounted for correctly, and priced as accurately as possible to maximize profits. Environment/Context: Availability of capital is the greatest internal factor influencing this job. Without sufficient capital, many projects and ideas cannot be implemented. Extreme volatility in the material pricing would be an external factor that makes it very difficult to estimate projects accurately and therefore complete them under budget. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Abide by site safety policies and procedures. Promote the INEOS 20 Principles. Complete behavioral based safety audits and operational audits monthly. Ensure projects implemented are in adherence of the INEOS Group Guidance Notes (IGGN’s). Provide technical support for the site’s Process Safety Management (PSM) program. Lead multifunctional teams to develop project scope, estimate cost, determine schedule, and identify resources required for successful project execution. Ensure that all designs satisfy project objectives and comply with INEOS specifications, safety, and regulatory requirements as well as industry best practices. Responsible for approval and resolution of project variances, controlling cost and schedule, as well as proactively coordinating internal and external resources to satisfy project objectives and achieve project metrics. Supervise and manage outside contractors as necessary. Follow through with safety audit action items on a timely manner. Initiate suggestions for plant improvements with respect to process, new equipment, or equipment differing from original specification. Ensure completion of documentation for technical changes and projects under management. Participate in safety reviews and HAZOPs. Design equipment for new processes and changes to existing processes. Provide engineering support for regulatory compliance issues (OSHA, TCEQ, etc.). Provide process design/engineering support assistance for production areas. Support plant turnarounds by filling various roles in the turnaround management team. Provide technical solutions and perform troubleshooting to solve reliability, process problems, and bottlenecks. Complete process simulations and implement these improvements at the production site. Perform process optimization studies and make recommendations for improvements. Support Front End Loading Project work. Skills & Knowledge Required Level of education & experience in general: BS in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, will consider related engineering field. At least 3 years of chemical plant experience, including turnarounds. Experience in project execution, especially interaction with contract engineering firms and project management. Technical skills: Extensive knowledge of HAZOPS and safety related reviews. Knowledge of process simulation, ASPEN preferred. Ability to design various types of equipment with emphasis on pumps, heat exchangers and distillation columns. Behavioral skills: Very effective interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, and contract personnel with a demonstrated attention to detail in all work processes in a multitasking environment. The incumbent must be able to communicate verbally and orally to all personnel at different levels, and must be able to design equipment and piping for new or existing processes. Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Manage facility project design and construction by coordinating, reviewing, and administering the work of Architects, Engineers, Consultants, and Contractors.

Create cost management solutions for facility projects. Manage vendors, engineers, and consultants to ensure facility projects are completed on budget and per schedules.

Responsible for project management, project planning, budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and project cost analyses.

Position Overview
This role can be based remotely in Texas.
The Senior Director, Energy Project Management, NA will be responsible for delivering hyperscale innovative large scale data centers from 300 MW to 1 GW. The generation solutions can be behind-the-meter and collocated with utility services to support onsite data center development. This role will lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and implement power generation projects, ensuring the timely online delivery of data center capacity for hyperscale customers.
Essential Job Functions
Power Solutions Development:
Identify, evaluate, and manage the development of power generation solutions for our datacenters that meet or exceed a customer's acceptable power price and uptime.
Project Management:
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of power generation projects, including planning, design, execution, and commissioning, while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Ensure project deliverables meet corporate standards and customer expectations.
Responsible for achieving the energization dates required to construct and operate data center projects.
Sustainability Integration:
Integrate sustainability considerations into the planning, design, and implementation phases of power generation projects, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
Commercial Negotiations:
Negotiate power purchase agreements with strategic partners for power plant development, ensuring alignment with business objectives, energy markets analysis, and regulatory policy.
Risk Management:
Evaluate and mitigate risks across technical, commercial, regulatory, and permitting dimensions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with utility business development, natural gas manager, site selection, site development, construction, and operations teams to align on project goals and timelines.

Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in energy project development of utility-scale power projects, 15+ years preferred
Proven track record in supplier business development and project management
Deep experience in wholesale energy markets
Skills:
Strong understanding of power generation technologies and sustainability solutions.
Structuring commercial agreements and managing contracts for power generation solutions.
Adept in transforming initial concepts into fully executed and implemented projects.

Position overview:This will be a key role in our company-wide program office that supports the expansion of our shared services offerings to Thermo Fisher businesses. Major areas of responsibility:- Coordinate between cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams to achieve desired outcomes.

General Role Description
Develop and manage the business unit's (BU) project management system to ensure achievement of the BU's MidRange Plan (MRP) commitments over 2-year rolling time horizons
Role Accountabilities
- Ensure the effective development, implementation, measurement, and management of the BU's project management system
- Design and staff an organizational structure that can effectively ensure successful project management
