Pay RangeThe pay range for this role is $25.00 - $41.75 per hour. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.

Job Summary
An HR Coordinator handles different facets of Human Resources by operating with a moderate-level of proficiency in multiple areas. The HR Coordinator supports the HR Department by acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries to ensure smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintains and updates employee records and databases with new hire information and changes.
- Oversees recruiting, onboarding, and orientation processes for new employees.
- Coordinates Training and Development procedures, including scheduling training sessions for employees.
- Assists in administering employee benefits programs and addressing related inquiries.
- Prepares and processes documentation for HR activities such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Responds to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Supports performance management processes and employee evaluations.
- Assists with investigation, discipline, and termination processes and procedures when needed.
- Prepares HR reports and presentations as required.
- Collaborates with HR and Administrative team members on various projects and initiatives.
- Assists in organizing company events, meetings, and activities.
- Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, or similar field preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not required
- At least 3 years' relevant experience in Human Resources or Management required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction site environment.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment most of the day.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to work for long periods of time in front of a computer or while standing.
