The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Lead** **Software Developer** to join the Information Technology Product Systems Contract Direct team in **Ridley Park, PA** .
The Information Technology Product Systems Contract Direct team supports supply chain integration environments for Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Programs, which provides application integration services between the BGS standard tool suite and external customers and suppliers.
By joining the Product Systems Contract Direct Team, you will be part of a team working directly with multi-billion dollar programs to develop custom IT solutions to support the fast paced business of Performance Based Services. The role is to design and develop new integrations supporting business contracts as they come into the BGS scope of work. This will include participating in requirements gathering workshops with internal and external customers, designing the implementation solution, and maintaining the product throughout the life of the contract. These integrations are responsible for providing an innovative user experience across each unique contract and customer. Our Team addresses the unique point to point integrations that enable us adapt to the constantly changing business environment required by BGS' many unique customers.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs
+ Leads analysis of end user processes to define and gather application requirements
+ Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications
+ Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 5+ years of experience with System Integration Design and coding methodologies utilizing Java in JBoss Fuse
+ 5+ years of experience gathering and evaluating end user requirements to design application integration solutions
+ 5+ years of experience agency implementing customer integrations for supply chain
+ 5+ years of experience in information technology in an application development role, performing core activities across the software lifecycle; from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, integrations, deployments, and production support
+ Experience with modern technologies (Angular, Express JS, OpenShift, etc.) and container products service (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
+ Experience as a technical team leader in creating and implementing new DevOps processes
+ Experience Leading the development of automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline build and deployment workflows (application build and deployment using KCS and GitLab CI)
+ Experience leading and integrating government systems with SAP and ERP systems
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
+ 10+ years of experience with COTS, Legacy, and Government system integration development and maintenance
+ 10+ years of experience performing software, database, integration, and server testing, debugging, and optimization
