The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 work assignments will impact both Medicare and Medicaid and are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Business Intelligence Engineer II describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data to create insightful and actionable business information. This individual understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. This individual makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. This individual follows established guidelines/procedures.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis
+ Minimum 2 years of professional experience with SQL and Access
+ Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.
+ Experience auditing large data sets (millions of rows of data) and mining for errors
+ Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis
**Work-At-Home Requirements**
+ At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
+ Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

- Proficient in PL/SQL Types, Collections, SQL Loader, Functions, Procedures, Packages, Materialized Views, Triggers, Complex SQLs, and SQL Reports.
- Experience with PL/SQL techniques in LOBs, Multilingual character conversion, and Oracle Performance Tuning.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data transformation, data structures, metadata, and workload management.
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.
