Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated IT Systems, Database Development and Support Analyst for our IT Commercial Gas Systems Team to provide first class customer service and technical support to our Natural Gas Accounting users.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support Gas System Application modules such as TIPS Accounting and gathering, BOBJ reporting, Oracle Database Objects, Data Archiving, and Interfaces to other upstream and downstream systems.
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Indexes.
  • Participate in project design, development, test and implementation activities with IT and Business users.
  • Support for IT and User testing and deployment of Vendor Builds and Patches.
  • Work directly with end users and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested.
  • The prospective candidate should meet the following qualifications:
  • Attained an education from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science or CIS/MIS.
  • Has strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Bowhead seeks a Database Developer to support the Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) contract located in Vicksburg, MS. The Database Developer will provide support and technical expertise for the development of an enterprise-wide system architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical expertise in design of databases.

  • Translate application requirements to fully functional software solutions for the end-user. Organize and drive design discussions and code-reviews.

  • Review code and data for possible security vulnerabilities, and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications
