Position Summary:
- Supervises, directs and coordinates the activities of the hospital when the Administrator and department directors are not present.

- Participates in continuous quality improvement activities within Nursing Department and the District when asked.
- Completes hospital-wide skills criteria annually.
- Complies with annual PPD testing.
- Maintains responsibility for own professional development.
- Provides support and guidance for staff and is responsible for sharing information with appropriate directors.
- Works with directors providing expertise in off hours to problem solve as needed.
- Maintains ability to perform clinical competencies and reviews annually.
- Staffs shifts appropriately and using fiscal responsibility.
- Assures staff has appropriate meal and rest breaks and documents when not able to provide relief.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Is able to interpret data about the patient's status to identify each patient's age specific needs and to provide the care needed appropriate to the patient's age group.
- Maintains nursing license following the Scope of Practice for Registered Nursing
- Must have the ability to multi-task multiple job duties.
- Must have the ability to handle stressful situations and interact appropriately with staff, patients, visitors and physicians.
- Must have the ability to walk, sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Must have the ability to assist staff on all Nursing units as well as having charge of the whole building.
- Must have the ability to perform multiple computer programs.
- Must have the ability to keyboard.
- Must have the ability to function as a team member within the department.
- Attends department meetings or obtains information through email. Provides input when needed.
- Accepts appropriate supervision.
- Education: Current California license as an RN.
- Experience: At least 3 years acute care experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required from the American Heart Association.
- Skills/Ability: Excellent clinical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills preferred. Exhibits the ability to organize work assignments and follow through with accuracy. Exercises good judgment, demonstrates initiative, emotional stability, tact and poise.

Job Description Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to focus on correctional facility projects. The Senior Project Manager will serve as Turner & Townsend Heery's lead representative for the delivery of a $75M+ ground-up expansion project for a secure detention facility. The project involves the construction of a new housing wing with associated support spaces, site infrastructure, and security systems, all adjacent to an active correctional facility. The role is full-time and embedded within the County’s Project Delivery Team, overseeing all phases of design and construction using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead the full lifecycle of a new correctional facility expansion project, from design coordination through construction and occupancy. Oversee consultants, architects/engineers (A/E), and the CMAR to deliver the project within scope, budget, schedule, and compliance requirements. Coordinate closely with correctional operations to plan construction sequencing and minimize impacts to ongoing facility activities. Review and enforce design standards, building codes, ADA/Title 15 compliance, and County quality/safety protocols. Support entitlement processes, constructability reviews, GMP negotiations, and field change management. Serve as liaison with custody staff, maintenance teams, and County stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or other related degree. 15+ years of experience in public-sector capital project delivery, with a focus on ground-up justice, correctional, or institutional buildings. Proven ability to manage DB or DBB projects exceeding $0M. Strong leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. Preferred: 5+ years of experience on detention, jail, or secure government facility projects. California PE, Architect license, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM). DBIA certification. Familiarity with California jail planning and design requirements, CDCR standards, and Title 15. Additional Information The salary range for this full-time role is 140K- 190k per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. As a Facilities Engineer, you will:
- Facilities management professional to lead a facilities team and contractors, supporting the Client customer missions.
- Responsible for space planning, construction management, maintenance, and operations of the Integrated Processing Facility (IPF).
- Develops, manages, and tracks facilities capital and facilities operating expense budgets and establishes long-range facilities strategic plans in support of business goals.
- Oversees the planning and implementation of space allocation, furniture and equipment layouts, communication services and networking requirements.
- Ensures facilities compliance with applicable building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
- Responsible for preventative, routine and emergency repair and maintenance of all facilities and facilities support equipment.
- Responsible to maintain and utilize a facilities maintenance management and work order system.
- Inspects facilities and evaluates such factors as HVAC systems, lighting, size, condition, and suitability for occupancy.
- Coordinates work of contractors and interfaces with external government agencies on facilities matters. Jointly responsible for facilities security and health and safety standards within the facility.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- 4+ years managing on-site facilities staff, supporting contractors and service providers.
- 9+ years relevant experience.
- 4+ years leading/managing staff, Personnel management background team lead/supervision.
- Strong project management and project execution skills.
