Summary / Scope Stratis Group is an independent pharmaceutical consulting firm that specializes in commercialization throughout a brand’s lifecycle, our core passions include: market access, patient services, field reimbursement, and data-driven analytics. In this contracted role, the Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a client-facing and client-customer-facing role that will be responsible for managing a dedicated territory to support access for provider and patients. This role will be highly visible within the organization and responsible for providing education to primary care and cardiology specific healthcare providers and office staff on access services and reimbursement solutions specific to a product and therapeutic area (Cardiovascular). The FRM will execute a region or territory strategic plan through partnership with internal and external stakeholders, which may include sales, market access, and/or other matrix field partners. Responsibilities include ensuring understanding of the reimbursement process particularly in Retail Pharmacy, field reimbursement services, and payer landscape. The FRM may also have to work on patient-level reimbursement issues without access to PHI. The FRM will abide in a compliant manner and will work closely within a defined set Rules of Engagement. In this contracted role, the FRM will demonstrate a compliant and consultative approach to help offices obtain insurance authorization and/or reimbursement of products for appropriate patients. The FRM will have a direct impact on providing a positive experience for both the HCP Customer and Patient. Additional responsibilities include: Manage daily activities that support appropriate patient access to our client’s products in the provider offices and work as a liaison to other patient assistance and access support services offered by our clients. Expert in providing general education on Retail and Specialty Pharmacy drug Prior Authorizations, Appeals, and Denials Provide in-person customer visits. Participate in client meetings as appropriate. Participate in regularly scheduled internal team and cross-functional meetings and calls. Input call activity into customer CRM, as appropriate. Serve as payer expert for defined geography and able to communicate payer changes to key stakeholders in a timely manner. Provide office education and awareness during the entire access process which may include formulary coverage/utilization management criteria, coding, insurance forms & procedures, benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeal, and/or claims resolution. Educate offices using approved educational materials provided by the client. Desired Job Requirements 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Managed Care, Field Reimbursement, Patient Services, and/or Sales (Specialty or Biologics), or healthcare provider office practice management 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience Cardiovascular/Cardiology and Hospital Healthcare Systems experience a plus The ability to travel 3-4 days a week, with overnights (as needed), must reside within the Territory Solution oriented mindset, strong business acumen, & strong analytic capabilities Experience and understanding of Retail Pharmacies & Specialty Pharmacies Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access processes and issue resolution Experience educating HCPs and office staff on client specific Patient Service programs (i.e. copay) Experience delivering educational presentations in person and/or via technology platforms such as Zoom, Webex, and/or Teams Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes with expertise in Medicare (Part D for Pharmacy Benefit products) Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal partners and effectively work well in teams Ability to manage ambiguity & problem solve Prepare and submit appropriate expense reports in a timely fashion Must be authorized to work in the United States Valid Driver’s License #J-18808-Ljbffr

The Sr. Director of Market Access will contribute to and lead the strategic and operational execution of our U.S. market access payer strategy—across both medical and pharmacy benefit channels. The role is accountable for shaping and communicating the value of our products to key decision-makers, while instilling a culture of executional excellence across the field team. As the senior leader for the payer- and channel- facing team, this position will define best-in-class engagement models, enable cross-functional alignment, and ensure measurable impact across access, affordability, and adherence
The Sr. Director of Market Access at Tandem also:
- Leads all field-based market access initiatives across medical and pharmacy benefit channels to increase profitability, market share, and organizational value.
- Defines and executes payer-specific reimbursement strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of the product portfolio.
- Translates market and payer insights into actionable strategies that inform product positioning, pricing, channel optimization, and distribution models.
- Monitors industry trends and reimbursement shifts; conduct scenario planning to evolve strategy in a dynamic payer environment.
- Collaborates with product management and corporate development on pricing and access assessments to drive strategic growth.
- Participates in the development and communication of the clinical, humanistic, and economic value proposition to payers and reimbursement bodies.
- Ensures alignment between market access enablement and GTM strategy and enterprise-level goals, integrating inputs from sales, marketing, legal, finance, and medical.
- Establishes and maintains a framework for executional excellence across the field account team, including structured KPIs, performance management, and coaching.
- Identifies, documents, and scales best practices to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and high-impact payer engagement.
- Champions the adoption of digital tools, CRM platforms, and analytics to increase productivity, track performance, and enhance field impact.
- Co-leads payor and pharmacy pull through planning and actions with VP Sales and Inside Selling teams.
- Collaborates with HEOR, clinical, and analytics teams to implement data-driven, outcomes-based programs aligned with payer priorities.
- Ensures coordination across commercial functions to support successful execution of access and affordability strategies.
- Leads talent acquisition, development, performance evaluation, and promotion for the field access team.
- Sponsors market access excellence initiatives, including onboarding, peer coaching, and leadership pipeline development.
- Oversees ongoing training programs to elevate value-based selling capabilities and drive a high-performing, customer-centric culture.
- Supports the short-term planning for the department including headcount, budgeting, training, and systems requirements.
- Participates in the selection, development, performance appraisal, merit recommendation, and promotion of staff.
- Ensures department staff is properly trained, per designated training plan, before assuming job responsibilities.
- Develops and manages schedules and performance requirements of staff.
- Manages long- and short-term resource planning including headcount, budgeting, systems, and training needs.
- Partners in ad hoc strategic projects that align with company priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 15 plus years of experience in market access gained through diverse leadership roles and demonstrated experience working with GPOs and PBMs.
- 5 plus years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry preferred.
- 5 plus years of prior experience building and leading teams in pharmacy and DME channels.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life science, business, marketing or a combination of equivalent education and applicable job experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree, preferred.
- Ability to travel by car or airplane up to 80% of the time.
- Ability to function in a dynamic, high-growth environment is critical to success in this role.

The starting base pay range for this position is $240,000 - $282,000 annually. This role will lead payer engagement, contracting, patient support plans, distribution, and HEOR initiatives to ensure broad and sustainable patient access. As a leader, this position will build and lead a high-performing market access team, working cross-functionally to align access initiatives with corporate and commercial objectives. This individual will also engage directly with U.S. and global payers, policymakers, and key stakeholders to drive long-term success in the evolving cell therapy landscape.
This position will report to the Chief Officer, North America Biomedicine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the market access, reimbursement, and pricing strategy to support the successful launch and long-term adoption of the CAR T-cell therapy.
- Provide strategic leadership for payer access, coverage, reimbursement, contracting, pricing, health economics, and trade and distribution.
- Design and oversee the strategic framework of the patient services hub, ensuring alignment with payer requirements and provider needs, while partnering with the Business Excellence function for long-term operational management.
- Lead payer engagement efforts, proactively developing relationships with commercial insurers, PBMs, IHNs, State Medicaid, Medicare, and Federal VA/DoD to secure optimal reimbursement and coverage.
- Develop U.S. pricing recommendations that account for contracting, rebating, price adjustments, best price considerations, and broader market dynamics.
- Lead trade and distribution strategy, ensuring appropriate channel management to support product accessibility.
- Shape innovative reimbursement models and contracting strategies, ensuring affordability and access while maintaining financial sustainability.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop a compelling product value proposition and payer engagement resources to support market access efforts.
- Ensure clinical research incorporates HEOR needs, leading the development of budget impact and cost-effectiveness models in partnership with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development.
- Stay ahead of evolving market trends, payer policies, and healthcare regulations, proactively adjusting strategies as needed.
- Build and lead a high-performing market access team while ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, R&D, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Medical Affairs.
- Ensure strict compliance with OIG, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines related to pricing, reimbursement, and market access activities.
- Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree required, advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD) preferred; A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience in market access within the pharmaceutical industry, including pricing & contracting, reimbursement, HEOR, and established relationships with several key national and regional payers; Or a combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record in payer engagement, contracting, and policy shaping at an executive level.
- Strong experience leading market access strategy for a high-cost, complex therapy requiring specialized reimbursement and distribution solutions, ideally in oncology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or rare diseases.

The Director, US Field Market Access leads efforts across LivaNova businesses for a defined region or assigned group of payers. Position Summary:
At Illumina, we are advancing the future of cancer care by unlocking the power of the genome. As the Director of Global Market Access Strategy -Oncology, you will lead global strategies to ensure patients worldwide have access to our transformative oncology testing solutions. Spanning hereditary risk testing, solid and liquid tumor profiling and monitoring, your work will help shape the future of precision oncology. This includes Market Access strategies for emerging oncology testing applications and indications (e.g. WGS, MRD, and early detection).
This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role that requires deep expertise in oncology diagnostics, payer engagement, and global reimbursement landscapes. You will collaborate across regions and functions to shape the value narrative, secure reimbursement, and drive adoption of our technologies in diverse healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and global market access strategies for Illumina's oncology diagnostic solutions, including comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP), liquid biopsy, and companion diagnostics including unmet needs and evidence gaps. This includes both research kits and in vitro diagnostic Illumina products.
- Partner with regional and country Teams to secure reimbursement and access in key markets, addressing diverse payer requirements and Health Technology Assessment processes. This includes participation in coalitions and industry groups to progress testing access.
- Deeply collaborate with regional Government Affairs, Commercial, Medical Affairs and Marketing Teams to align and execute strategies to gain, protect and expand access to genomic solutions and emerging applications.
- Define and communicate the clinical and economic value of diagnostics through compelling value propositions, evidence generation studies, and payer engagement.
- Support and partner with the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Team on evidence generation strategies, including clinical utility studies, real-world evidence, and health economic and costing models tailored to oncology.
- Monitor global policy trends, HTA requirements, and payer expectations related to oncology to inform strategic planning and product development.
- Develop and update global value dossiers, reimbursement toolkits, and payer engagement materials to support local execution.
- In collaboration with regional Market Access, build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including payers, HTA bodies, advocacy groups, and policy makers.
- Maintain positive working relationships across key channels including customers, distributors, and core laboratories. Support Commercial and Marketing in engagements including meetings, conferences, and symposiums.
- Provide strategic input into product development, launch planning, customer channel considerations and lifecycle management to align with access and commercialization goals. Provide guidance on realization of value of emerging Illumina technologies.
- Lead Illumina product coding and pricing with appropriate regional and coverage segment bodies in collaboration with Product Management and other Illumina functions.
- Ensure compliance with company, international regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (GC, MBA, MPH, PhD, or related) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in clinical setting, market access, reimbursement, or health economics, with a strong focus on oncology.
- Proven success in developing and executing global market access strategies in diagnostics, biopharma, or the payer setting.
- Understanding of international reimbursement systems, HTA processes, and payer decision-making across major markets.
- Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS), liquid biopsy, or companion diagnostics in oncology.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Ability to manage budgets, vendors and consultants.
- Passion for improving cancer outcomes through access to genomic innovation.

The estimated base salary range for the Director, Global Market Access Strategy - Oncology (Remote) role based in the United States of America is: $201,100 - $301,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
