As an Electrical Superintendent you will play a signi?cant part in the success for Kiewit. **Responsibilities**
+ Mentor and support the development of junior superintendents, general foremen, foremen, and field engineers
+ Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen, and laborers to ensure fair compensation and cost control as well as adherence to the established budget
+ Assist project management with contract administration (subcontractor/field management meeting for communication)
+ Maintain good relations with both our client and staff on site
+ Initiate and attend meetings with the client, engineer, and key project staff for problem resolution and planning
+ Provide input for monthly progress updates, job cost updates and
+ Assist project management in the review, approval and negotiation of change orders
+ Assist in the development and implementation of project completion and turnover
+ Maintain detailed daily records to facilitate accurate documentation and reporting.
+ Ensure that all performance evaluations and completed in a timely fashion for direct reports
+ Review and approve or reject promotions up to General Foremen.
**Qualifications**
+ 8+ years' construction experience with 3+ years being in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity.
+ Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewit's policies, procedures and software programs.
+ Ability to identify and resolve any problems that may arise.
+ Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
Other Requirements:
+ Hands on electrical installation experience as a journeyman electrician on power generation or industrial installation. Current or previous state licensed Journeyman preferred but not required.
+ A degree in electrical engineering or electrical technology from an accredited institution may substitute for hands on experience with appropriate industry supervisory experience.
+ Must be familiar with NED, IEEE and NFPA standards for installation and safety.
+ Must be familiar with OSHA and industry safety rules and regulations

ABOUT THE ROLE
To obtain and monitor, by chemical and physical tests, representative samples from the Production Department of raw materials, feed, clinker and cement, and advise them of adjustments to ensure a quality product with a minimum of variations.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
- Analyze raw mix with X-ray, wet or physical analysis and instruct Raw Grind on change, and assist in solving any problems.
- Monitor clinker production with X-ray or wet analysis and insure quality clinker used in cement production.
- Monitor cement production with X-ray, wet or physical analyses and oversee adjustments to proportions, admixtures, fineness and air content, assist in solving any problems.
- Record accurately and timely, data for use by management and other departments.
- Perform complete ASTM chemical and physical test on daily composite samples to insure product meets strict plant standards.
- Perform periodic calibration and preventive maintenance checks on all equipment and maintain chemical solutions.
- Run proficiency samples against other labs.
- Take inventories of gypsum and admixtures.
- Perform microscopic evaluation of cement and clinker.
- Run heat content on calorimeter.

Job Description:
+ Conduct environmental monitoring with Level 3 gowning qualification, spending multiple hours in cleanrooms as required.
+ Assist in the maintenance of laboratory and media supplies and equipment.
+ Support investigations for environmental excursions and assist in revising standard operational procedures, trend reports, deviations, and corrective actions.
+ Perform water sampling and gas testing.
+ Execute aseptic process validations, environmental monitoring performance qualifications, and gowning qualifications.
+ Inspect aseptic process qualification units.
+ Perform Quality Control biological and cell-based testing of Cell Therapy release and stability samples during the 3rd shift.
+ Participate in Cell Therapy technology transfer activities and validate analytical methods, including training on new methodology, equipment setup, SOP generation, and execution of validation protocols.
+ Perform general lab and equipment maintenance duties.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably an environmental lab.
+ Level 3 gowning qualification is required.
+ Proficiency in quality control, chemistry, GMP, biology, and microbiology.
Work Environment:
+ This role operates on a 1st Shift schedule from Wednesday to Saturday, with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.24 - $33.74/hr.
