**A Day in the Life**
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Operations Engineering Team to support day to day manufacturing operations. The candidate will work closely with various support groups on implementing manufacturing process/equipment improvements as well as mitigating quality defects and manufacturing downtime.

The Manufacturing engineering position will focus on supporting sustaining optimization projects and qualifications? Responsibilities of this position will include project management, validation procedures, manufacturing job instructions, execution of the validation, compilation of reports, coordinating of tasks and creating engineering change orders? The role will interact directly with the manufacturing operators, supplier quality engineers, operations quality engineers, and design engineers to ensure proper qualification plan is followed?
+ Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Develops and executes validation strategy of various changes including scrap reduction, fixture improvements, supplier changes, and equipment optimization
+ Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
+ Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
+ Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
+ May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
+ Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
+ Provides guidance regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
+ Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations?
**Additional Responsibilities**
+ Ensures reliability, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes configuration and processing solutions, and tests product conformance to specifications.
+ Collaborates with research, design, development, and testing for product improvement projects.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Minitab,?etc.
+ Familiarity and expertise with statistics, ability to analyze data, interpret results and write technical reports.
+ Knowledge of GMP and ISO regulations (Design?Controls).
+ Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards and the Medtronic Code of?Conduct
+ Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with little supervision or daily?direction
+ Strong, team-oriented professional with good interpersonal skills and project management experience.

Provide programming support for engineering projects
Support the implementation of new technologies by working closely with our performance and systems group.

Minimum of 5 years of Delta V programming Experience

The Role
We are seeking a motivated Senior Systems Administrator/Engineer to serve as the backbone of our global IT operations—managing, securing, and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based systems. You'll work across platforms like Windows, Linux, M365, VMware, and more, while mentoring peers and providing hands-on support to users around the world.

Role Specifics

What You Will Own
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for all end-user issues routed through the Workplace Technology (WPT) function—owning day-to-day support and ensuring timely resolution of problems.
- Administer and maintain core infrastructure systems (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy).
- Maintain and improve Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
- Manage and support our provider platform (Okta), including SSO, MFA, user lifecycle, and app integrations.
- Oversee and support virtualization environments (VMware and Hyper-V).
- Implement and maintain security and compliance controls across systems and devices.
- Provide tier 3 support and act as an escalation point for global IT issues.
- Drive automation and scripting initiatives to streamline repetitive administrative tasks.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching cycles, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with peers across global regions to implement best practices.
- Mentor IT support staff and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and usage to proactively address issues.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding, user lifecycle management, and access controls.
- Support cross-functional initiatives with People & Culture, InfoSec, and Workplace teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration in a mixed OS environment.
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Microsoft 365 & Azure AD administration.
- Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
- VMware virtualization and storage fundamentals.
- Okta administration (user provisioning, SSO, MFA policies, application integrations).
- Core networking concepts and technologies including firewalls, VPNs, switches, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proven track record in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience supporting global end users and resolving a wide range of workplace technology issues across devices, systems, and applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
Qualifications
- Experience with Intune and JAMF for endpoint management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server/Azure Administrator, JAMF 200+, CompTIA Security+, VMware VCP, Okta Certified Administrator).
- Experience with monitoring tools, system logging, and audit preparation.

This position provides Quality Assurance (QA) oversight to Suppliers, Service Providers and Contract Labs to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Serves as the quality liaison to suppliers and executes and leads on-going qualification for Suppliers, Service Providers, and Contract Labs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leads or supports the supplier management program. Suggests, develops and/or implements improvements to the program to ensure it maintains compliance with current regulatory and industry expectations.
- Leads and Performs new material and new supplier on-boarding process
- Performs on-site audits to ensure compliance to regulatory standards and internal procedures. Completes audit reports and ensures appropriate CAPAs are identified by the supplier when necessary. Site audits require up to 25% travel, both domestic and international.
- Performs desk top audits to ensure compliance to regulatory standards.
- Responsible for the Material Review Board process. Schedules and facilitates meetings ensuring cross-functional input and decision making on supplier related topics, including real-time monitoring of supplier performance and documentation of supplier score cards.
- Leads Supplier Complaints to ensure investigation into issues are completed and appropriate CAPAs are identified and implemented by the supplier.
- Leads the Raw Material Change Evaluation process.
