Job descriptions and needs would entail but are not limited to:

Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on a variety of medical devices, including:
CPAP/Bi-level therapy
Home ventilators
Cough Assist devices
Oscillation vests
Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
Ensure proper functionality of equipment through inspection and testing.
Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.

What You’ll Need:

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (Oregon license a plus!).
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of previous hospital-based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care.

Job Summary:
In addition to the responsibilities below, this position is also responsible for implementing best practice models; implementing patient care delivery systems and practice standards in several locations; investigating and resolving patient/family/member concerns regarding patient care and services; collaborating with physicians, outside healthcare providers, and other health care team members to target diseases/conditions/services that would benefit from a multidisciplinary approach; managing interdisciplinary teams to design assessment tools, interventions, and care management plans that improve member outcomes throughout the continuum of care; monitoring resource needs in assigned clinical areas to ensure appropriate assignment and utilization; monitoring the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies and medications; fostering a safe environment for patients and employees; maintaining clinical expertise, providing clinical supervision, competency and licensing necessary to fulfill job responsibilities and to direct the provision of care in the unit; delegating tasks and duties that are aligned to scope of practice; and performing clinical duties as required.

+ Manages care delivery operations and programs within a twenty-four-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week operational environment by: managing complex work streams and implementing strategic initiatives with significant program impact; utilizing data and analysis to ensure strategic alignment while developing and implementing plans; proactively monitoring daily operational activities involving direct and/or indirect patient care management; monitoring resources in hospital areas to ensure appropriate assignment and utilization; managing multidisciplinary hospital team(s) and holding team(s) accountable for performance; implementing emergency preparedness programs; ensuring others are up-to-date with the teams emergency preparedness plan, revising recovery plans as needed, ensuring and confirming staff are trained and understand expectations for during and after an emergency; leading project teams and/or initiatives, and monitoring implementation and delivery on objectives; and managing the delivery of nursing services and patient care within a twenty-four-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week operational environment in alignment with cost, quality, and clinical and utilization standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
+ Minimum three (3) years of experience in patient care delivery.
