I&C Technician / Field Service Technician
Travel - 70% ( New England and Mid-Atlantic Region
TEMP - TO - HIRE
$35.00- $38.00/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Field Service Representative, you'll be on the front lines providing operational and maintenance expertise on industrial water treatment systems for one of our customers from a variety of industries.
- This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media filtration, industrial water treatment and ultrafiltration (UF).
- The ideal candidate will have experience in water treatment and 3-phase electrical systems
- Review customer plant installations and compare against VWTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
- Monitor equipment performance and operation
- Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation
- Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, process and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardware
- Perform installation & maintenance activities on various water treatment technologies
- Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system
- Provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or programming and/or water treatment equipment
- Working experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred
- Ability to travel extensively- primarily in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet all customer site requirements Additional Information
- Please Note: This position will support New England and Mid Atlantic Region
- A recently graduated apprentice may be considered
- The role involves regional travel, including overnight stays, primarily New York to Washington, but can extend further.
- Mileage will be reimbursed until a company vehicle is provided, and all travel expenses are covered.

Job Description:
This position is for a Solution Architect Project Engineer leading Command, Control, and Communications (C3) Programs within the C5S Engineering organization. The role is responsible for leading multi-disciplined engineering teams in the proposal, design, development and delivery of next-generation products. As an integral part of our fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate is an key decision maker, leader, mentor and motivator to their engineering team.
Essential Functions:
+ Key interface between the Engineering team and Program Management
+ Ensures all technical performance, cost and schedule goals on the program are met
+ Acting as an advisor to senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and/or applications
+ Identifying and managing program technical risks
+ Establishing schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for tasks
+ Ensuring engineering processes are followed on projects
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DOD Security Clearance
+ Serve as the project's primary technical interface for both formal program reviews and ad hoc meetings with the customer, program executives and suppliers
Qualifications:
+ Active DoD Security Clearance
+ Bachelor's Degree (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Mathematics, Computer Science) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, inclusive of 1 year of leadership experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience.
+ Experience and knowledge in developing, proposing, managing, implementing, testing products and system solutions in Command and Control, Communications Systems, Risk management framework and/or Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) systems including:
+ Radio Communication Systems
+ Networking Systems including traditional and emerging software defined Networking technologies (LAN / WAN)
+ RF Distribution Technologies including RF over IP
+ Risk Management Framework accredidation processes
+ Virtual and Container based Software Systems
+ Recent Leadership experience and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation and manpower planning
+ Previous DOD engineering development experience
+ Requirements analysis and definition experience
+ EVM/CAM experience
+ Effective presentation and communication skills
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ TOP SECRET Clearance or higher
+ Technical Master's degree (i.e., MSEE, MSCS, MSSE, etc.)
+ Experience in the use of Systems Development methodologies and processes (SEI CMMI and/or ISO 9001/AS 9100 compliant processes)
