Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
- Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration number
- At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS
- You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports

Required Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Nursing (APRN or FNP) or Physician Assistant program
+ Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant license in CT (or ability to obtain)
+ Certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP or certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA

**Connecticut Residents Only** : The salary range for **Connecticut** residents is $109,513 to $147,146 per year. Position Details:
Hartford Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their endocrinology team. Duties include managing inpatient diabetes to complex populations spanning all hospital service lines and collaborating with a number of interdisciplinary nurses and physicians to coordinate interventions, treatments, and tests. Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioner Role Scope:
Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Advanced Practitioners perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Advanced Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.
Advanced Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider’s practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.
