Molex is hiring a Global Product Manager to join our Datacom division. As a Global Product Manager for High-Speed Interconnect Products, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data center and enterprise networking technologies. You will be responsible for leading the development and management of our high-speed interconnect product portfolio, specifically focused on silicon protocols at 112G and 224G speeds. In this highly visible position, your expertise and strategic vision will drive our product roadmap and ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of the industry.

This person will own the product line and work with global customers, partners, and internal business partners to ensure that we develop and manage existing products to achieve sustainable revenue/margin growth and best return of investments. This role has a global reach and will work closely with our big data and hyperscale customers, sales, and engineering teams to meet our customers' needs by providing high-tech leading-edge components that are critical for the data superhighways existence we use every day changing the world. You will also ensure that the product and marketing efforts are tailored to support Molex's overall mission, strategy, and goals. The successful applicant will have the ability to appropriately plan and see assignments through to completion with minimal direction, provide leadership to other team members, present technical information, meet project schedules, manage risks, close business with customers, and achieve profitable growth for the organization.

This position can be based anywhere in the United States with a preference in Illinois. Our headquarters are based in Lisle, IL.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the development and execution of the high-speed interconnect product strategy, including product roadmap, pricing, and positioning.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop marketing collateral to promote new technologies, develop industry partner relationship, and gain penetration in the market.
  • Define product requirements based on customer feedback, market demands, and technological advancements.
  • Increase pipeline growth, customer wins, and project release.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guide less experienced team members.
  • You will be interfacing with professional cross functional team members in our product design engineering, signal integrity team, manufacturing integration team, program management, sales organization, state of the art test laboratories, high tech R&D model shop, manufacturing, and senior leadership teams.
  • Monitor product performance and market trends, making recommendations for product enhancements or portfolio adjustments as necessary.
  • Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and marketing collateral development.
  • Track and understand the competitive landscape and establish and drive our technology roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Travel opportunities to visit our customers, manufacturing sites, and meet the global team.
  • Lead development projects making sure that it is completed on a timely basis and on budget.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on high-speed interconnect products in the data center or enterprise networking industries.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of sales experience calling on Datacom accounts
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience within the high speed Datacom Market

For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

The Position:

Location: This is an onsite position based in our South San Francisco location.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Veracyte R&D Team as a Principal Scientist for IVD product development. This exciting and challenging role is responsible for leading the development and validation of genomics-based molecular diagnostic assays under design control in the field of oncology. This position requires planning and managing technical studies aimed at establishing and validating genomics assay workflows, test kit components and controls, and performance of IVD assays, along with overseeing technical team members. To be a successful candidate, you will share our commitment to teamwork and collaboration and be excited by the challenges of applying your scientific expertise to develop genomic tests that improve patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development and validation of genomics-based molecular IVD assays using the design control process - inclusive of design, feasibility, optimization, guard-banding, verification, validation and design transfer.
  • Mentoring (design, monitor, complete, troubleshoot) of laboratory project tasks performed by product development personnel.
  • Lead product development efforts within a multi-disciplinary team that includes project management, clinical, bioinformatics, regulatory, quality and marketing groups.
  • Participate in managing the Design History File for new products.
  • May participate in other aspects of IVD development and testing to ensure that IVD products conform to product specifications.
  • May participate in company audits as it relates to development and validation of IVD assays.
Who You Are:

PhD in chemistry, biochemistry or molecular biology (or related studies) plus extensive relevant industry experience (10+ years, including 7 + years industry), or an B.S./M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry or molecular biology (or related studies) with additional relevant experience (15 + years, including 10+ years industry).

  • Prior experience in developing genomics-based IVD assays or laboratory developed tests is required.
  • Experience with various molecular platforms (e.g. next-generation sequencing, microarrays and/or qPCR), in the context of assay development and testing of clinical specimens, is required.
  • Keen insight into experimental design, aimed at elucidating the biological factors that influence genomic results.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the biochemistry underlying multi-component molecular biology methods at the sample preparation, assay and detection level.
  • Familiarity with IVD regulations (FDA 21 CFR Parts 820 and ISO 13485:2016) or CLIA regulations.
  • Demonstrated effective mentoring (design, monitor, complete, troubleshoot) of laboratory project tasks performed in the hands of others.
  • Experience with gene expression is preferred but not required.
  • Goal-oriented and timeline-driven to support company objectives. Demonstrated an ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and acknowledge that product timeliness is essential to commercial success.
  • Must be highly motivated team player and work well with others.
