Our Savannah River Mill manufactures Sparkle paper towel, Quilted Northern & Angel Soft bath tissue, Vanity Fair napkins and enMotion. The employees at this facility combine a dedication to safety and a commitment to the environment to produce high quality products for our customers. In this role, you will work four ten hour days (nights, weekends, holidays and overtime may be required in this role) and the compensation will be commensurate with experience .

Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. What You Will Do
- Embrace and adhere to all facility safe work policies, practices, and regulations
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment to achieve optimal performance levels using precision maintenance best practices, tools and techniques
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial drives, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, gear reducers and other industrial process equipment
- Apply problem solving methods to identify the root cause and eliminate failures
- Cross-train and assist in maintenance and operational areas
- Work with the operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
- Follow both verbal and written instructions to successfully complete assigned tasks
- Learn the mill's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and work with other technology to plan, schedule and complete maintenance tasks
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of three (3) or more years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with lubrication, print reading, rigging, precision measurement, and precision alignment
- Experience using a computer or tablet
What Will Put You Ahead
- Welding and/or rigging certifications
- Experience with reliability and/or condition monitoring
- Possession of an industrial mechanical diploma or vocational degree
- Experience with pulp and paper industry and/or power generation/utilities
- Experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

What you will do
Under general direction, responsible for the service & repair, design, configuration, and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and other low voltage control sub-systems (i.e., lighting, nurse call, data networks, etc.) to meet the intent of the customers and JCI goals. Accountable for quality, timeliness and efficiency of Service & repair and designs. Develops complex software programs, commissioning and solving to ensure proper operations of the building control system. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Sales and Service team and subcontractors.
How you will do it
- Designs, configures and services technically complex building control systems for the customers facility. Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, schedules and electrical schematics as required.
- Develops and tests software programs necessary to operate the system per customer facility requirements' intent.
- Coordinates and creates necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals, services and/or installation.
- Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned jobs.
- Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and solves problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
- Provides field change information to the team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
- Keeps management and JCI contractor and customer informed of job progress and issues.
- Assists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.
- Participates in coordination and release meetings with sales and service operations. Performs value engineering to provide cost effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- May provide work direction to Service Controls Technician I and Senior I and Senior II Controls Technicians.
