The T901 engineering team is focused on the development and qualification of the all new T901 engine for the US Army. This engine builds on the successful 40+ year T700 franchise combined with cutting-edge technologies such as Ceramic Matrix Composites and Additive Manufacturing to deliver a significant increase in power and reduction in fuel burn while fitting in the same aircraft as a T700.
The sub-section manager (SSM) for T901 Mechanical Systems (MSE), Accessory Gearbox (AGB), and Externals will lead a team of approximately 10 direct reports ranging from early career to experienced engineers that will execute design, hardware procurement, and test support for the T901 engine. The SSM will also be responsible for the overall program execution for this hardware including monthly earned value management (EVM).
This role is best suited for an experienced engineer with a passion for developing people and solving new or complex design problems that require a collaborative approach with a cross-functional team. Working effectively in person, across geographic sites, and with adjacent organizations will be necessary for success. In addition to design responsibilities, the manager will provide development opportunities and career navigation guidance to direct reports.

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the MSE, AGB, and Externals design, analysis, and test activities using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards. Ensure all technical data generated regarding module design is properly documented.
+ Provide technical guidance and influence outcomes balancing input from cross functional teams and design requirements. Assess quality of available information and ask pertinent questions to make informed decisions.
+ Demonstrate critical thinking and engineering judgment to solve complex tasks or problems across engineering, project management, or manufacturing. Recommend new or creative solutions to challenges as they arise.
+ Develop technical talent through coaching, mentoring, and identifying team assignments to meet customer deliverables.
+ Assess internal and external business challenges associated with module design and overall program. Recommend best practices to improve. Stay informed of industry trends and understand impacts to short or long term project goals.
+ Lead daily management activities and weekly operating reviews including developing action plans as needed to solve problems applying FLIGHT DECK principles.
+ Serve as the control account manager (CAM) for the AGB, MSE, and Externals.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor of science in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 6 years of turbomachinery design engineering experience

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. **Job Description**
**AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced need Sr-Level Mechanical Systems Inspector Position to support the** **US Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Benning, GA near Columbus, GA** **. This is an onsite,** **full-time position.**
**Duties Shall Generally Include:**
+ Provide daily inspections to ensure construction conforms to plans and specifications,
+ Review of submittals and RFI's and monthly pay requests.
+ Preparing IGE for contract modifications.
+ Provide oversight and management of testing, adjusting and balance of building commissioning
+ Provide daily oversight for mechanical systems TAB, controls PVT and building commissioning.
+ Attendance of all mechanical and plumbing meetings and providing input on effectively meeting all Requests for Proposal (RFP) and design requirements.
+ Attendance of all warranty inspections and support in attaining and maintaining the contractual warranty.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ HS + 10 Years of relevant experience in construction practices, engineering, procedures, and testing, and large vertical DoD construction projects.
+ 3 years commissioning experience.
+ Due to the nature of the project US citizenship is required.
+ Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background checks.
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
+ Up to 50% of the time the position needs to move about indoor and outdoor construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable environmental conditions including heat, dusts, noise, moisture, and dryness.
+ Occasionally (10-25% of workday) performing repetitive bending/stooping, repetitive or fine hand movements, working at heights, and lifting and carrying equipment weighing less than 25 pounds.
+ At times the position requires working with arms above shoulder level, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), climbing stairs, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting greater than 25 pounds.
+ The position requires wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ Knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing and building control systems
+ Experience using RMS
+ Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification (CQM-C)
+ USACE experience

**SAIC** is currently seeking a **Mechanical Systems Technician** in **Middletown, RI** . The candidate will work to support the maintenance and operation of an advanced Naval Test Facility and torpedo hardware. The Propulsion Test Facility (PTF) specializing in the test and characterization of torpedo mechanical systems including propulsion, combustion, and fluid pump and control systems. The primary work focus will involve the maintenance, setup, breakdown, and repair of mechanical test equipment and facility infrastructure including fluid and gas handling, industrial equipment, and complex test and automation systems.
**Job Duties:**
+ Responsible for the checkout and visual inspection of pumps, valves, eyewash stations, and lockout/tagout.
+ Usage of facility cranes.
+ Fabrication of test fixtures through the use of light metalworking.
+ Performing maintenance tasks and helping to develop maintenance procedures.
+ Assembling and installing equipment.
+ Creating, building, modifying and repairing prototype test systems and fixtures.
+ Facility and system upkeep and organization.
