We're hiring immediately! This isn't your typical entry-level retail position. Whether you're just starting out or have years of sales experience, you can earn $16.00 to $1.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to 16,000 a year in individual-based commissions if you hit all your sales goals. Planning to go above and beyond? With our commission program, the opportunities are unlimited for employees who exceed their sales goals. Top performers could make an extra 14,500 or more in individual-based commissions, giving you the chance to earn a total of 65,000+ to 73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

What we're looking for.You'll need to have:

High school diploma or GED.
One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

What You'll Do
As a Territory Sales Representative, you'll have the opportunity to generate new leads, sales, and upgrades. That means becoming a wiz at sales prospecting, referrals, partner relationships, and door-to-door canvassing and networking through an assigned territory. You'll be the architect of your own face-to-face sales presentations, from creation to delivery, and you'll be involved in touchpoints from assessing residential customer's needs to closing the sale.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of 26,800.00 - 40,200.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of 32,496.00.

Responsibility for the achievement of our HOFFMAN outside sales quota in Nebraska and Iowa, with the focus being Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of total target cash pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Total target cash is comprised of an employee’s base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved.
Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
If annual sales performance exceeds annual sales goals, the total target cash received may exceed the pay scale maximum reflected below.
Total Target Cash Range:
Geographic Region A: $101,400.00 - $88,300.00 Geographic Region B: 110,600.00 - 205,400.00 Geographic Region C: 96,300.00 - 178,800.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
