Overview: Job Title: Program Leader
Status: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $24/hour Program Leaders work with an assigned group of students, student to staff ratio is contingent upon CDC guidelines. This is a part time, in-person position in districts and school site locations throughout California. Program Leaders act as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. Program Leaders must have a genuine interest in the growth, development, and provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the students they teach. A Program Leader's ability to establish authority and connections through leadership, communication, and most importantly patience, will be required in giving our students the stability and nurturing atmosphere they need to succeed. Responsibilities:

    • Lead a group of students in an in-person setting, maintaining high standards for behavior and safety by implementing the Think Together four core agreements:
    • Be safe. o Be respectful. o Be responsible. o Have fun.
  • Serve as a positive adult role model for children in the program through appropriate dress, speech, and attitude.
  • Create an engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging that kids want to be in.
  • Support students in making positive behavior choices and take disciplinary measures when appropriate.
  • Identify student needs and communicate to Site Program Manager, teachers, school administration and parents, as appropriate.
  • Participate in staff development

In Person Learning:

• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using curriculum and materials provided by the program.
• Work directly with a group of 20-25 students in a classroom setting, implementing classroom and behavior management strategies.
• Assist daily with snack preparation, serving and clean up.
• Assist in set up, break down, and ongoing maintenance to keep the school or community site clean and orderly.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-in/sign-outs for students activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required.
• District-specific - 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.

• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)
• Provide negative TB Test dated within the last 3 years.
• At least six months experience working with a group of 10 or more students in a classroom, afterschool, or recreation environment.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K-8)
• Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Support our English-learner population by being bi-literate (Spanish preferred)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree or higher, or High School diploma/equivalent, and any of following: passed the District Instructional Aide Exam, CA Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST), or completed 48 college units verified by transcript

Executive Director, PDM Product Strategy Leader

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the VP of PDM Product Strategy and part of the broader Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM) organization, this role leads strategic cross-functional teams responsible for all technical and CMC aspects of the assigned products, from entry into the technical development portfolio all the way through to the end of the product life-cycle. The PDM Product Strategy Leaders will be a team of people from diverse technical or business backgrounds. For some products, these leaders may be performing the role on a part-time basis, but this role is full-time and will be managing the most complex products or a portfolio of products depending on the life-cycle related workload.

FOCUS AREAS

The successful candidate will:

  • As the PDM representative on the Gilead Program Strategy Team, translate business strategy and PST vision into the PDM plan for execution, bring technical issues to the team and influence decision making and strategy. Proactively raise issues and options to the strategy teams and ensure consistent application of enterprise-wide prioritization principles. Ensure that technical perspectives and concerns are reflected in the strategic plans for the assigned products.

  • Direct Process Development and Analytical Development teams to ensure effective and timely progression of pipeline projects and CMC life-cycle planning. Develop and own the product technical plan including timelines, multi-year budgets and critical deliverables, and influence PDM functional leaders, to ensure PDM meets the enterprise goals for the product.

  • Develop and ensure delivery of the process and analytical development activity in alignment with products' core strategy and milestones from the Technical Development Teams.

  • Ensure end-to-end design, execution and risk mitigation activities across Process, Formulation and Analytical work packages from FIH through commercialization.

  • Identify process, analytical development, and control system risks within a product and across products - then develop mitigation plans and enable effective and timely decisions through collaboration with Technical Development Teams and PDM partners.

  • Prepare annual revisions to the technical strategic plans for the products.

  • Take relevant decisions to direct the product team or, for decisions outside the teams' scope, escalate and steer through the appropriate PDM governance mechanisms.

  • Accountable for clear and timely communication to senior leadership on product activities throughout the enterprise against deliverables, timelines, and resources.

  • Drive decisions from a portfolio perspective to make the best use of resources and drive the highest value.

  • Translate external insights, including competitive and commercial trends, into PDM objectives that optimize the robustness of our products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in science, engineering, or technical field with directly relevant professional experience of at least 16 years with a BA/BS or 14 years with an MA/MS, PhD, PharmD, or MD.

  • Demonstrated track record of outcome-oriented team leadership in some aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing, or supply chain, or quality, or CMC regulatory, or process development, or as part of a cross-functional product team in the broader pharmaceutical industry.

Executive Director, PDM Product Strategy Leader

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of PDM Product Strategy and part of the broader Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM) organization, this role leads strategic cross-functional teams responsible for all technical and CMC aspects of the assigned products, from entry into the technical development portfolio all the way through to the end of the product life-cycle. The PDM Product Strategy Leaders will be a team of people from diverse technical or business backgrounds. For some products, these leaders may be performing the role on a part-time basis, but this role is full-time and will be managing the most complex products or a portfolio of products depending on the life-cycle related workload.

FOCUS AREAS

The Successful Candidate Will

  • As the PDM representative on the Gilead Program Strategy Team, translate business strategy and PST vision into the PDM plan for execution, bring technical issues to the team and influence decision making and strategy. Proactively raise issues and options to the strategy teams and ensure consistent application of enterprise-wide prioritization principles. Ensure that technical perspectives and concerns are reflected in the strategic plans for the assigned products.
  • Direct Process Development and Analytical Development teams to ensure effective and timely progression of pipeline projects and CMC life-cycle planning. Develop and own the product technical plan including timelines, multi-year budgets and critical deliverables, and influence PDM functional leaders, to ensure PDM meets the enterprise goals for the product.
  • Develop and ensure delivery of the process and analytical development activity in alignment with products core strategy and milestones from the Technical Development Teams.
  • Ensure end-to-end design, execution and risk mitigation activities across Process, Formulation and Analytical work packages from FIH through commercialization.
  • Identify process, analytical development, and control system risks within a product and across products then develop mitigation plans and enable effective and timely decisions through collaboration with Technical Development Teams and PDM partners.
  • Prepare annual revisions to the technical strategic plans for the products.
  • Take relevant decisions to direct the product team or, for decisions outside the teams scope, escalate and steer through the appropriate PDM governance mechanisms.
  • Accountable for clear and timely communication to senior leadership on product activities throughout the enterprise against deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Drive decisions from a portfolio perspective to make the best use of resources and drive the highest value.
  • Translate external insights, including competitive and commercial trends, into PDM objectives that optimize the robustness of our products.
  • Support other PDM Product Strategy Leaders in building a peer-group community with a range of technical backgrounds and experience through ongoing strategic coaching and skill development.
  • Coach part time PDM Product Strategy Leaders to learn and succeed in role.
  • Coach early in-career development scientists and engineers, and others working on the product team.

Requirements

  • A degree in science, engineering, or technical field with directly relevant professional experience of at least 16 years with a BA/BS or 14 years with an MA/MS, PhD, PharmD, or MD.
  • Demonstrated track record of outcome-oriented team leadership in some aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing, or supply chain, or quality, or CMC regulatory, or process development, or as part of a cross-functional product team in the broader pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Excellent influencing skills to effectively lead in a highly matrixed environment with minimal positional authority within the enterprise product teams and across PDM.
  • Cross-functional and enterprise-wide relationship building skills.
  • A strong business process orientation but able to deploy processes practically and with the maximum impact.
  • Expertise with cGMP manufacturing and regulatory regulations and requirements for biologics and/or small molecules.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple products and modalities.
  • Excellence in coaching and mentoring scientists and engineers across functional areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex situations, illustrate conceptual paths, and facilitate discussions leading to resolution on key issues.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a changing environment.
  • Able to effectively handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Comfort with assuming responsibility and accountability for taking impactful decisions.

**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the below:
- Manage AST rapid and complex Oracle Cloud and SaaS project engagements
- Engage with AST project team members and client stakeholders to ensure adherence to AST's project methodology
- Prepare weekly project status reporting for project PMO, client steering committee and AST Management
- Manage project resources and project timeline to the established project budget, addressing all changes in scope according to the project change control process
- Develop and manage project schedules
- Assist with business development initiatives including presentations and proposals
- Assist with internal operational objectives for project management methodology and practices
**Required technical and professional expertise**
What We're Looking For:
- 7-10+ years managing Oracle Cloud (HCM, FIN, SCM, EPM, ERP) implementation projects.
- Experience leading multi-year, multi-phase and complex Oracle Cloud engagements and migrations.
- Public Sector (city/state/local government) and/or K12 schools project experience required.
- Ability to conduct effective discussions about Oracle systems and business operations topics with all levels of client organizations and across all discipline areas (technical, functional, change management, project management, and operations management).
- Experience with managing engagements that include third-party, integrated systems.
- Understanding of full life cycle project delivery methodology including stakeholder and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with implementation of change management objectives and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
- 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
- PMP Certified (highly recommended).
- Experience utilizing a full life cycle methodology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially to facilitate the resolution of cross-team challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to fully utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
- Ability to manage and collaborate with an offshore delivery arm of the overall project team, for both functional and technical delivery tasks.
