We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician with a experience in plumbing, piping, trenching systems, construction, and landfill work. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling and positioning machines, casing pipes, and operating truck-mounted equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and position machines, casing pipes, and other equipment using hand tools.
+ Drive or guide truck-mounted equipment into position, level and stabilize rigs, and extend derricks.
+ Operate controls to stabilize machines and to position and align drills.
+ Load drill rods onto drill carousel for access during the drilling process.
+ Dig mud pits for excreted drillings during the drilling process.
+ Select and attach drill bits and drill rods, adding more rods as hole depths increase, and changing drill bits as needed.
+ Record depths on work orders as instructed.
+ Record GPM (gallons per minute) on work orders as instructed.
+ Drive trucks or truck-mounted drills to and from work sites.
+ Retrieve lost equipment from boreholes using retrieval tools and equipment.
+ Disinfect new and old wells in preparation for use.
+ Fabricate well casings.
+ Utilize current online software program (currently Service Titan).
+ Maintain proper paperwork (vehicle mileage, daily report, well log).

**DAY IN THE LIFE** **:**
In this role, the shop working environment is typically in an indoor workshop. The working environment will occasionally be outdoors in weather extremities. Use of PPE, exposures to hazardous material, loud noise, etc. and the physical demands may include but not limited to {regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs. In addition, this role may require frequent travel to customer sites and on-call as a regular part of the job.
