Our Manager, Materials & Inventory Operations is a dynamic individual that will join a motivated team of materials management and supply chain professionals. This individual is accountable to manage accurate inventory of direct and indirect GMP materials, oversee process and documentation for the end-to-end inventory life cycle, and monitor & control key performance metrics for materials management at the Summit West Cell Therapy site. This individual will be responsible for identifying and resolving inventory-related challenges, building scalable processes to mitigate future issues, and driving cross-functional collaboration to optimize materials management . Leveraging state-of-the art cGMP facility, this position will make use of existing innovations and future technologies to support supply demand.
**Shift Available:**
+ Monday - Friday, Hybrid Day Shift, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
**Responsibilities:**
**People Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration**
+ Act as the liaison between the warehouse team, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and quality departments to align on inventory strategies and priorities
+ Partner with Material Management team manufacturing teams to understand materials requirements and ensure on-time availability of critical components
+ Support quality control and regulatory compliance teams in managing inventory disposition and tracking
**Inventory Accuracy & Reconciliation**
+ Develop and maintain processes to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy across all warehouse and manufacturing locations
+ Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective and preventative actions
+ Manage the cycle count program and physical inventory processes, including wall-to-wall counts of inventory held at offsite storage locations. Ensure alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices
+ Monitor aging and obsolete inventory and drive resolution where required
+ Lead the investigation and resolution of inventory-related challenges, including material shortages, overages, and expired stock
+ Establish frameworks for managing inventory adjustments with clear accountability and visibility
+ Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making on inventory investments and risk mitigation
**Process Development & Optimization**
+ Design, implement, and continuously improve processes for inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting
+ Establish and update standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for materials handling, storage, and issuance
+ Create and maintain reporting tools to provide visibility into inventory health and operational metrics
+ Collaborate with IT and systems teams to optimize the use of ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS)
+ Maintain a constant state of quality and financial compliance/audit readiness
+ Promote a mindset of continuous improvement, problem solving, and prevention
**Key Metrics and Capability Building**
+ Provide training to Train warehouse and materials management staff on inventory processes and tools
+ Build organizational capability in inventory management by sharing best practices and creating a culture of accountability and accuracy
+ Monitor and report on inventory health, including metrics such as accuracy rates, turnover, shrinkage, and aging
+ Quantify the impact of inventory challenges (e.g., financial loss due to scrapped or expired stock) and identify opportunities for cost savings
+ Develop dashboards and visualizations to track operational performance and communicate insights to stakeholders
**Knowledge & Skills:**
+ Advanced Proficiency in MS Office applications
+ Strong knowledge of inventory systems (preferably SAP and Oracle)

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $90,290 to $109,400 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

Here they learn about the military structure of the U.S. Navy, its rich history of traditions and customs, leadership development and military etiquette.

Once that training is complete, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a Supply Corps Officer through the following specialized training programs:

Navy Supply School (27 weeks) in Newport, RI, for training in inventory management, food and retail operations, leadership, management and problem solving.

Advanced Training

Advanced training for prospective Supply Corps Officers may also be available. This specialized training may cover subjects including transportation management, freight classifications, methods of working with civilian carriers and special handling of medical goods and explosives.

Operation Oversight

Job Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree or above is preferred: Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operation Management
  • Proven track record of success in supply chain, transportation, and/or logistics operations, with at least 8 years of managerial experience
  • Prior experience in WMS, TMS. ERP or related systems can be advantageous
  • Experience with OSHA compliance
  • Experience with Property and Casualty claim management will be plus
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Data Driven
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge in DOT regulation
  • FDA, HACCP regulation or food related compliance

Position Summary
Client is seeking a dynamic individual to join a motivated team of materials management and supply chain professionals. This individual is expected to efficiently support the supply chain management software application functions, data management and sources, testing of new technology, assist with data migration and correction, and support activities related to the integration of supply chain management information systems. The Analyst, Supply Chain Management & System will be responsible for the supporting all supply chain management system that activities start from raw materials to the final drug product.

Key Responsibilities
•Joining a team of highly qualified materials management and supply chain professionals, this individual will be responsible for supporting the supply chain management process, systems, and software functions for MRP, ERP, data sources, testing, integrations, reporting, analytics, and more within the cell therapy network. The support includes, but is not limited to, working with supply chain leadership to identify requirements and develop effective solutions to meet these requirements following standard implementation testing and deployment of guidelines.
•Configure and optimize systems to meet business requirements, ensuring proper alignment with organizational objectives. Configure and refine business processes within systems, aligning them with industry best practices and organizational needs.
•Develop a variety of reports, exports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring comprehensive data visualization and analysis capabilities. Assess the existing reporting requirements to appropriately prioritize and streamline the development of reports.
•Implement system enhancements and fixes, following standard project implementation guidelines and testing and deployment standards. Investigate and research system-related issues, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions to enhance system performance.
•Collaborate with stakeholders on identifying and prioritizing new system enhancements, fixes, and project schedules. Implement agreed-upon enhancements and solutions following established project implementation guidelines, ensuring adherence to testing and deployment standards.
•Coordinate and actively participate in the execution of user acceptance testing for fixes, enhancements, and upgrades to ensure system reliability. Provide regular status updates on open issues, requests, and projects to stakeholders, maintaining transparent communication.
•Lead and/or participate in project teams to implement new software solutions or processes, contributing to successful project outcomes. Actively seek out opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance performance, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
•Continuously learn and apply business, technical, and software knowledge, sharing insights with departmental users to promote continuous improvement. Train users on new data, software functionalities, tasks, processes, and reporting and analysis techniques to ensure effective system utilization.
•Act as a source of knowledge in areas of supply chain best practices and methodologies. Work cohesively with cross-functional teams in support of operational efficiency, flexibility, and assurance of material availability. Support the implementation process improvements by maintaining open communication with all teams and fostering environment of cooperation in which to achieve shared goals.
•Lead systematic initiatives related to network materials planning including, supplier forecast, network inventory allocation, safety sock analysis, planning parameters, and supply planning activities. Maintain effective and service-oriented relationships with departmental and organizational-level stakeholders.
•Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor's degree in applied science.
•2+ years relevant experience.
•1+ years' relevant experience with materials management and/or supply planning within cGMP operations in matrixed organization with multi-level setup
•Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
•Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude that is willing to assist other areas of the organization.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong focus and attention to detail.
•Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and maintain a strong attention to detail.
•APICS certification is a plus
•Proficiency in ERP and systems (I.e., Oracle, SAP, QAD)
•Ability to perform frequent physical tasks with strength and mobility. Flexible scheduling required.
•Any equivalency combination of education, experience, and training may substitute.
