Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our TEAM! As the Customer Service Representative, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support, such as servicing walk-in customers, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.
Sign-on Bonus of $750 and Perfect Attendance Bonus of $50
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 22.40 and 31.25 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other company-sponsored benefit programs.
Primary Objective: To ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support.
Major Function And Scope
- Provides customer account management, which may include, but is not limited to, order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
- Responsible for keying in orders, processing faxes, and preparing reports.
- Interfaces with various groups, including but not limited to internal teams and SSCs, to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to order delivery.
- Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- 3+ years of call center or customer service experience. Focus on customer account management is preferred. Prior textile industry knowledge is preferred.
Other Pertinent Job Information: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. The associate must have the ability to regularly lift up to 15-30 lbs, and at certain times, you may be required to safely lift up to 70 lbs. Tile boxes or other materials that are longer than 36 inches or more than 70 lbs in weight require a team lift. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, anthe d ability to adjust focus. - Load, secure, and unload product and material from truck.
- May pick up and deliver small local loads upon warehouse Manager request.
- Turn in receiving paperwork daily (bill of lading, manifest, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Read work orders to determine product to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Operate forklift or pallet jack to move product or shipments from shipping and receiving elevator to storage or work area.
- Assist with receiving deliveries.
- Accurately documents the movement of product to and from the production floor.
- Monitor and complete paperwork for accuracy checking case counts, lot numbers, and work order numbers.
- Check labels, date codes, product codes, and box weights on all incoming and outgoing product to ensure accuracy.
- Record lot #'s, board #'s, and number of cases on board of incoming and outgoing product.
- Affix labels to outgoing pallets of product identifying product information including product codes, lot #'s, etc.
- Record items in save area for incoming and outgoing product.
- Record all partial boards of incoming and outgoing product.
- Ensure production lines have necessary product and respond to request promptly.
- Fill work orders or requests for product and distribute items to correct lines.
