- Schedule : On-site Monday through Friday 7am to 330pm
- Pay: $22-23 an hour
- Purpose of Position
- To assist in research and testing which support development of products or procedures, collect, and manage data, provide technical surgical assistance during animate and inanimate labs, and coordinate appropriate project/study logistics while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Responsibilities
- Develop study related documentation which meets GLP, SOP, and protocol requirements to include,
- Develop study specific data sheets
- Study Binder set up as needed
- Pre-Study Meeting Setup
- Animal Related Documentation
- Coordination of appropriate project/study logistics to include:
- Request study specific equipment and instrumentation
- Work with study coordinator to request and schedule studies to meet project timelines
- Place animal orders in accordance with protocol and study schedule
- Request ordering of appropriate animal related drugs to fulfill protocol and SOP requirements
- Coordinate receipt, submission, and transfer of test and/or control articles
- Participate in laboratory clean up post-surgery
- Necropsy set-up and support
- Support the conduct of histopathology work tasks including the management, transfer, and
- receipt of histology specimens to an external laboratory
- Test/Control Article Dispensary
- Data collection and verification
- Data QC - intra-op phase
- Support the study director in addressing QAU audit findings
- Final Data Review & Reporting Document Prep
- Final Reporting Document Prep
- Interface with principal investigators and contributing scientists in support of studies conducted on-site and at a contract laboratory
- Interact with internal and external partners and regulatory agencies
- Acts as Test Article Dispensary Clerk when assigned
- Ensure the highest standards of biomedical research and development are upheld and carried out by meeting the standards of USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), AAALAC (Association of Assessment & Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care), DEA, Animal Use Policies & GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) regulations
- Qualifications (Skills & Competencies)
- Knowledge of both human and animal anatomy/physiology
- Experience working with large animals, preferably in a laboratory/research/veterinary setting
- Surgical support experience; comfortable assisting at the table during surgical procedures
- Experience working in a GLP regulated environment
- The ability to understand and precisely follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Meticulous eye for detail; able to spot minor discrepancies/errors and immediately act to correct them
- Strong background in data collection, data management, and data integrity
- Able to set priorities and use time wisely to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Safety-minded in the way you organize your work space and conduct yourself
- Accountable for one's own actions and work; accepting the consequences of one's behavior; able to admit mistakes
- Basic computer proficiency; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

You Are
As an Advanced AI Research Scientist Associate Director, you formulate real-world problems into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and Machine Learning problems.
+ You lead teams and provide guidance to explore and implement new methodologies, model building techniques, and cutting-edge algorithms, and applying these techniques with the right architecture to solve real-world problems.
+ You have a deep understanding and ability to remain at the forefront of generative AI, LLM, and multi-modal models (with a focus on driving innovation by applying these techniques to new business problems, use cases, and scenarios).
+ As needed by the specific problem, you train and/or fine-tune generative AI models and evaluate on the specific problem.
+ As a significant part of this role, you will be justifying the value of innovative generative AI or traditional Machine Learning approaches (or a combination of both) in the business problems, and you'll be expected to construct methodologies that clearly demonstrate their value.
+ You will direct/influence research direction & set strategic research priorities for short-term & long-term workstreams
+ You will also work collaboratively with teams & leaders from both the business and technical side, including users, use case representatives, business owners, engineers, architects, and UI designers, to achieve end-to-end project development goals.
The Work
+ Participate internal and external discussions to gather business use case requirements, provide on the spot AI expertise and AI solution options for business problems.
+ Design, develop and implement advanced AI/ML models, especially LLM and other Gen AI models from scratch or existing foundation models via self-supervised learning, transferred-learning, and fine-tuning techniques.
+ Design, develop and implement highly sophisticated Gen AI based applications including generative agent and similar architectures which support multiple Gen AI models to work together for complex tasks.
+ Lead technical teams and grow true AI expertise within broader team including offshore
+ Collaborate seamlessly with diverse, cross-functional teams to accurately identify and prioritize requirements, ensuring that the AI solutions meets the needs and expectations of various stakeholders.
+ Develop and execute an AI solution project plan with team, timeline, and infrastructure dependency.
+ Define and implement a value justification approach to the AI solutions; estimate solution cost with right technological choices; and calculate ROI.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation that comprehensibly captures the intricate details of the solution, capture IP, facilitating seamless understanding, knowledge transfer and future development.
+ Collaborate with academia partners to stay on the cutting edge of AI, especially Gen AI technologies, provide through leadership on AI trend, AI use case innovation trend, new AI opportunities, or foreseeable limitation, risks, and concerns.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's What You Need
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and developing neural network models, especially deep learning model, and Foundation models.
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience of experience in building, fine-tuning Foundation models including LLMs and multi-modal models.
+ Minimum of 7 years of strong working knowledge of the different technologies, their differences, modalities in the Generate AI space.
+ Minimum of 7 years of working knowledge and familiarity with different LLM driven application architecture patterns.
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in deep learning and neural networks, in particular training and large language models with popular libraries and GPUs.
+ Minimum of 7 years of working knowledge of computer architecture, and familiarity with the fundamentals of GPU architecture.
+ Minimum of 7 years of proven experience with processor and system-level performance modelling.
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience of technical team management or team mentoring.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
