Position Purpose:
Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. This position makes equipment recommendations and ensures that units are maintained. Technicians work in both our stores with Tool Rental Centers and in our repair centers. In a store, technicians will be expected to provide service to store customers in Tool Rental which includes writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, checking to make sure tool is operating properly and demonstrating its proper use (as needed). In addition to supporting customer repair needs, they are also responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. In non-store locations, technicians will ensure units are repaired, tested for the quality of the repair and cleaned prior to returning to the store where the repair originated. Technicians must have a thorough knowledge of all tools and must effectively manage the tool inventory by maintaining the tools and repairing them as necessary.

With safety as the top priority, the incumbent will be responsible for the VERIFI equipment suite including installation, maintenance and repair.
Candidate will perform troubleshooting services to aid customers in resolving issues and help them achieve maximum potential from our solutions. The technician will be the primary VERIFI representative at the concrete manufacturing plant. They will install and maintain Verifi concrete management systems installed on customer mixer trucks and admixture dispensing systems as needed.
The VERIFI Field Service Technician will be required to interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance management and mechanics.
Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only VERIFI employee at the customer sites, thereby requiring candidate to work independently.
Schedule flexibility is required. Field visits may be scheduled late at night and/or very early in the morning.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Possess a broad array of knowledge including computer systems configuration, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, 12/24 volt DC electrical systems, and hydraulic system principals.
+ Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with both colleagues and customers

**Installation, Maintenance and Repair**
+ The technical work pertaining to Verifi includes, but is not limited to review and analysis of system performance reports to determine problem areas and develop resolutions. **Planning & Scheduling of Dispenser Service work**
+ The technician is self-dispatched. This requires an independent self- starter, self- directed person who possesses the ability to diagnose and determine requirements, plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthly events in accordance with the needs of the company and the customer.
+ In this role the candidate will interact directly with internal as well as external customers on a daily basis, and as such must possess competencies such organizational skills, planning skills, customer orientation and project management skills. The technician is responsible for managing their 'response time' consistent with customer expectations or agreement.
+ Must be on continuous call to respond to customer requests for assistance; diagnoses and solves technical problems, providing on-site assistance to customer locations for proper application of our equipment/products.
**Equipment Service Administration**
+ The service administration component requires a candidate to be proficient with computers in order to execute activities that include but are not limited to:
+ Equipment ordering, Warehouse part re-stocking, Expense reports, Service Management System compliance, Preventative Maintenance, calibration scheduling and compliance, Actively control expenses and demonstrate stewardship of company resources, Maintain real time participation CRM reporting systems, Track time, parts and incidental costs associated with each customer site and each customer truck.
**Other Duties**
+ Complete all safety training and on-line training modules; Observe all necessary safety procedures, both those of GCP/Verifi and those of host companies.
+ Develop a solid understanding of concrete and the concrete industry, most importantly the operations of a concrete plant.
+ Recommend modifications and product changes to improve reliability of equipment; work with the R&D team providing input to new system designs or researching/testing concept of operation of new parts and providing input to improve reliability and performance of the solution and its components.

Our Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for installing, updating, completing preventative maintenance and other services as needed for infusion pumps in hospitals across the United States, while delivering exceptional customer service. **This is a 100% travel position in which you will be traveling on average 2-4 weeks at a time.**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
+ Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
+ Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
+ Document and submit daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation.
+ Full-time commitment requiring travel locally, regionally, and nationally; there is some potential for rare international travel assignments.
+ Assignment-based schedule with 40 hours commitment per week and overtime as needed.
+ Complete other duties at the discretion of management.

**Job Requirements:**
+ Associate degree, or equivalent military training programs, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience. (3-5 years field experience)
+ Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot project setup, technical issues, and closeouts remotely within multiple software programs.
+ Professional business acumen and effective communication skills required.
+ Self-motivated individual who can work independently or collaboratively within a team, required.
+ Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure on-time completion of project assignments.
+ An active and unrestricted driver license, and a personal vehicle for local work-related assignments are both required.

+ Must have personal vehicle in good running condition for local travel assignments

As a Field Service Technician, you are part of our services support team and your passion for providing exceptional customer service contributes to our world-class elevated level of customer satisfaction. Acting as a first-line response to customers on-site in your assigned territory, you will communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner, with your focus being on finding the right solution with your customers.
You will connect with our customers to address questions and resolve various problems on-site (some uncommon), knowing when and who to turn to for support. You will organize, triage customer issues, and identify problems before they start. No matter the situation, your formal training (provided through NCR) will allow you to provide customers with what they need when needed. Additionally, you will always be on the lookout for preventative measures you can take, escalate issues, and serve as an ambassador for the NCR brand. You aim to keep our customers thoroughly assured and satisfied through your technical expertise and consistent and constant communication.
Job responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
+ Digital Field Service Technician, a dedicated technical liaison servicing the Chick-fil-A customer.
+ Responding to customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
+ Servicing Kitchen Production Systems, including POS, receipt printers, customer payment terminals and back-office peripherals within an assigned territory
+ Overseeing hardware maintenance, installation, network management, multi-vendor maintenance, and software support
+ Utilizing your technical skills on products like peripherals, large system printers, enterprise level servers, communications equipment, networks, internet access points, etc.
+ Performing maintenance repair and system overhauls (like modular swaps and unit replacements)
+ Managing everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access
