Reach Truck Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Reach Truck Operator for a company based in LaVergne, TN. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for pulling client orders and processing them for shipment.
Pay Rate
$21.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday
6:00am to 4:30pm
Fridays and Saturdays 6:30am to 2:30pm
Overtime and weekends are required
Reach Truck Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operating a reach truck to pull orders
• Proper use of computer or tablet
• Using an RF Scanner to document orders
• Maintain order accuracy
Reach Truck Operator Qualifications and Requirements:
• Previous experience with a stand up reach truck
• Basic computer/math skills
• Ability to work 10 hour shifts and OT
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Drug screen and background check required

•May be required to load/unload trucks
•May be required to push/pull USPS rolling stock equipment with and without (empty) US Mail
•May be required to push full/empty airline containers on ball decking
•May be required to load/unload full or empty airline equipment from Company transport dollies
•May be required to scan mail into/out of airline containers.
•May be required to weigh airline containers utilizing Company ball decking and scales
•May be required to validate the serviceability of airline containers based of airline requirements
•May be required to operate GSE equipment including but not limited to trucks, tugs and forklifts
•May be assigned administrative duties by the supervisor which includes equipment checks/reports
Minimum Requirements
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent is a plus
•Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
•Must be able to pass certain requirements mandated by the United States Post Office including but not limited to
o Have a verifiable 5-year work history (Unemployed ok, if it is accounted for)
o Have a verifiable 5-year United States (or any of its territories) residence
o No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old. Some charges may disqualify you altogether regardless of length
Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Perform kitting, shortage fulfillment, window issues of parts from stockroom, work order closing and other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager
- Put away materials, which requires using a pallet jack or forklift
- Accurately transact and physically move parts from the stockroom, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy
- Participate in continuous improvement process
- Other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use pallet jack. Prefer forklift certified.

Job Description
Teledyne ETM is seeking a temp-to-perm material handler. Successful candidates will start out working through our designated temporary agency and will be considered for transition to direct employment.
Responsibilities:

Perform kitting, shortage fulfillment, window issues of parts from stockroom, work order closing and other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager
-
Put away materials, which requires using a pallet jack or forklift
-
Accurately transact and physically move parts from the stockroom, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy
-
Participate in continuous improvement process
-
Other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager
Desired Job Requirements and Skills:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to use pallet jack. Prefer forklift certified.
-
Ability to repetitively lift 20 to 50 pound packages
-
Prefer previous experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment on stockroom functions
-
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments, while complying with verbal and written instructions
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision
-
May work overtime during weekdays and weekends.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
