What You'll do

The purpose of the Cashier is to play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth transactional experiences for our valued customers. You will be the frontline representative of our brand, responsible for greeting and interacting with customers, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
  • Exceed customer expectations by delivering outstanding service through clear communication and active listening.

Job Functions include the following and other duties may be assigned.Greets customers as they enter the store; offers assistance as needed. Treats the public at all times in a courteous, cheerful and tactful manner.Keeps displays in proper order; assures that store is kept neat, orderly and well stocked at all times. Ensures that store is kept neat and orderly; assists with housekeeping duties, such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Operates cash register and/or credit card terminal accurately; finalizes purchases. Balances drawer daily. May provide tax deductible receipt(s) to all donors as needed/requested. Answers customer questions or inquiries relative to items on display; assists customers with purchases.Reports any facility maintenance or safety issues to Store Manager promptly. Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment within the store premises.Performs other essential tasks as requested or required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEValid Florida driver's license with safe driver rating.High school graduate or equivalent certification preferred, but not required. Prefer at least six (6) months' experience in a retail store environment, however, willingness to learn on-the-job will be considered adequate.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
