About the Role:
The individuals performing services will report directly to the client Data Center Services (DCS) Engineer. Initial training will be provided by the DCS Engineers but it is expected that the selected rm will manage subsequent training for new individuals. This service is not intended to take the place of the responsibilities of the Engineer of Record for the projects and there are no requirements for providing PE stamped or sealed documents while performing the services outlined below. Though the experience and the background of Professional Engineers to perform these services are preferred. The engineering resources will follow the Owner's specifications, standards for quality, and commissioning methodology.

What You'll Do:

Review detailed short circuit, coordination, and arc ash study (study performed by outside rm) results including, 30%, 65%, and 95% releases.

Provide comments and compare study results at each release phase and compare for conformance to client SCCAF study guidelines. b. Provide technical support for Project Managers in resolving electrical systems design and technical issues.

Review electrical equipment construction protection plans, provide comments on the plan, and perform periodic validation of the equipment protection functionality.

Confirm that contractors are conforming to protection plans as permanent equipment is delivered to site and contractors are maintaining logs.

Assist in authoring processes and procedures for electrical equipment energization and testing.

Serve as technical resource for electrical equipment vendors and manage vendor relationships for electrical equipment.

Provide technical support for equipment issue resolution and disputed electrical equipment issues.

Work with client engineering to roll-out medium voltage quality standards and perform periodic inspection of medium voltage terminations on site to confirm adherence to established quality standards.

Review medium voltage pull calculations, walk through cables pulling processes and perform periodic oversight of medium voltage cable pulls.

Perform hands-on troubleshooting, identify repair plans, and participate in critical commissioning of electrical equipment such as substation switchgear, paralleling switchgear, low voltage switchgear, protective relays, HMI systems, power quality meters, and power monitoring systems.

What You Will Do
- Improve the integrity and reliability of all voltage Electrical Installations (480V, 4160V, 13.8kV), Systems and Equipment for the facility. This includes but not limited to reliability improvements by developing engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and other issues that adversely affect plant equipment operations.
- Lead or support electrical root cause analysis efforts and equipment/system reliability studies
- Develop and drive best practice asset strategies for mill electrical equipment/systems. Includes testing, electrical preventive and predictive maintenance plan development and optimization for electrical systems
- Provide technical support for maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve reliability issues
- Develop/support training programs for maintenance and operations personnel for safe and reliable operation and maintenance of plant power distribution system

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

PE licensure is essential, and having an NCEES record is a plus.

Additional certifications or experience, such as Commissioning Agent, RCDD, LEED AP, is a plus.

Some experience in designing Green Building certified projects (LEED, WELL Building, NetZero, Energy Star, Earthcraft, etc.) is preferred.
Working Conditions
Work is predominately performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. This is an in-office position with regular opportunities for hybrid-remote work.
Field work is required on occasion in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and ability to climb stairs/ladders may be required as needed.

We are looking to add a Civil Engineer to our Engineering team. Our Civil Engineer's primary role is to provide engineering design & leadership for private land development projects.
What You Will Be Doing
You will prepare site civil development plans, including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and a variety of other engineering software
