Responsibilities:
+ Delivers Engineering supports all aspects of the product development lifecycle from ideation to detailed design, specification, analysis, and verification.
+ Product design and engineering and material selection.
+ Supports new concept/idea generation via prototyping, rendering, Design Engineering Best Practices, and Material selection.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Material Sci. and/or Industrial or a related field). .
+ 2-7 years relevant work experience in Product Development/Engineering, Technology Leadership including managing small technical teams.
+ Familiarity with product design and engineering with metals and castings is a big plus!
+ Competent in engineering a product from scratch using sound engineering principles and best practices, taking appropriate material selections and construction designs into consideration.
+ Strong experience with Solidworks or other 3D Software
+ Knowledge of Lean Sigma tools for identification of root causes and proposed solutions within DFMEA/ PFMEA, Lean/ Six Sigma Fundamentals.
