**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Establishes preventative maintenance schedules for all systems, equipment, and buildings including: ammonia refrigeration system, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire protection and security systems, electrical and energy management, dock doors/dock plate systems, power industrial equipment, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Automation, building components (roof, interior and exterior floors/walls, doors, paved surfaces and landscaping).
+ Handles, assignments, and monitors department projects for quality and timely completion.
+ Utilizes maintenance tracking software for task management.
+ Conducts audits ensuring all required inspections and documentation are completed accurately (including but not limited to food safety documentation, EPSM, PSM, GFSI, etc.) and retained to ensure a minimum potential for loss.
+ Preserve associate relations through regular department or pre-shift meetings.
+ Maintains on-going interaction.
+ Keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitors associate morale, and submits and respond to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement.

- Ability to work under pressure and a fast paced environment
- This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally.
- This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (between 35 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift.
- Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and or store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.
