What Skills and Experience Does a Successful UDA Hygienist Have?
- Current state license to practice dental hygiene
- The confidence and ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires
- Strong communication skills
- A desire to embrace preventative centered care
- The ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including (but not limited to) adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride
Hygienists are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law.

As a member of the Business Development & Marketing Department, the Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for implementing Business Development strategy and proactively driving a range of new business and marketing initiatives. The Senior Business Development Manager will work with attorneys and leadership within assigned practice groups to engage clients and drive revenue growth in the market.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to the attorneys within assigned practice, by leveraging practice, industry and client knowledge along with business acumen to retain and expand new and existing client relationships, cultivate prospects and broaden exposure to target markets.
+ Collaborate with attorneys on strategic, actionable business development plans for department and practice groups by partnering with department and practice group leaders. Work with individual lawyers to advise on business development best practices and strategies.
+ Establish data metrics in conjunction with business plans and client pipelines.
+ Engage with departments and attorneys to develop a deep understanding of the legal and business needs of clients and the corresponding legal solutions the Firm provides to them to drive strategic priorities.
+ Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities with new and existing clients.
+ Serve as primary strategic advisor for informal proposals and formal Requests for Proposals (RFP) and/or Requests for Information (RFI). Collaborate with attorneys, pricing and knowledge management professionals on development of proposal strategy regarding services, packaging and pricing. Assess ROI potential and tailor pitches appropriately based on competitive landscape. Collaborate with Proposal Manager to ensure accurate, detailed responses.
+ Track new business prospects and lead cultivation across assigned practice areas.
+ Support opportunities to increase brand awareness and profile for assigned practice areas, work directly with attorneys and team members to develop and implement programming for clients and prospects.
+ In collaboration with Knowledge Management, oversee and coordinate the development of strategic research on existing and prospective clients, competitors, and industry developments or market trends to inform and support business development opportunities, strategies, and decisions.
+ Work with practice group and department leaders to evaluate annual marketing budget requests in the context of business plans and revenue potential.

**QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
**Experience:**
+ 5-7 years of marketing/business development experience working with Attorneys and Practice Groups required. Large law firm or professional services experience preferred.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**

**The Opportunity**
Black & Veatch is seeking a highly motivated person to function as a LeadMechanical Engineer in the design of mechanical systemsforAdvanced Power Generation projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to.
+ Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad
+ Under general supervision, perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and analysis for assigned systems of responsibility.
+ Acquire knowledge of both Black & Veatch and industry standards and implement them in project development
+ Preparemoderately complex engineering deliverables, conductresearch, and develop project designrecommendations
**The Team**
The Mechanical Engineering Department is a group of 400 professionals located around the globe that deliverhigh quality, on time design and services projects in the areas of Power, Gas, Fuels & Chemicals, Water and Waste Water, Data Centers, and Mining including everything Mechanically related to Process and Power (from Conventional, Combined Heat and Power, Hydro, Hydrogen, Nuclear, Solar/Renewable, LNG, Ammonia, Fertilizer) projects to specialized Air Quality Control, HVAC, Fire Protection, Piping, Thermal and Renewable performance estimating and testing.
Black & Veatch's Power Providers focuses on the holistic demands for energy generation markets that include utilities, independent power producers and new non-traditional entrants adding to the much-needed supply of secure, clean power to our industries and communities. **Preferred Qualifications**
Experience in most of following areas:
+ Instrument and/or Service Air Systems
+ Demineralized (DM) water supply and make up systems
+ Service and potable water supply system
+ Natural, hydrogen, and nitrogen gas Supply System
+ Closed cycle cooling water system
+ High Pressure / Intermediate Pressure / Low / Auxiliary Steam system
+ Feedwater and condensate systems
+ CO2 Supply System
+ Calculations which include pipe sizing calculations, pipe thickness calculations, pump sizing calculation, control valve sizing calculations, heat exchanger sizing, atm. tank sizing etc.
+ P&ID development
+ Air, gas, water & steam systems, typical systems which we are looking to perform design & engineering work
**Minimum Qualifications**
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
**Certifications**
Professional Engineer (PE) or in active pursuit of such licensure
**Work Environment and Schedule**
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
The position may entail prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, and the professional would ideally be able to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. The position may also be require physical tasks during site visits, including crouching, grasping, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
