Essential Functions:

Operating Room (OR): This seven-bed unit offers a great opportunity to be a part of this fast-paced and exciting specialty. Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 in this OR setting that includes scrubbing and circulating in the OR for surgery cases including Operating Room, Assistant, Healthcare, Equipment, Patient Care, Total Rewards

• The Perioperative Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process as reflected in AORN Standards of Perioperative Nursing Practice. Perioperative nursing practice includes, but is not limited to the role of scrub person, circulator, clinical coordinator and educator.

The Nurse Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Operating Room and assists the Senior Director of Nursing with supervising nursing staff. The position requires the Nurse Manager to participate in the strategic planning for the department, and ensures all operational areas are clean, safe, and compliant with all clinical regulatory guidelines. The Operating Room Nurse Manager has accountability for nursing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
