  • Assume primary responsibility of processing all product deliveries.
  • Process deliveries in a timely manner with full attention to detail and abiding by receiving procedures.
  • Ensure receiving supplies are filled and maintained.
  • Maintain backstock area and cooler.
  • Keep receiving area secure while on duty.
  • Break down and organize designated loads.
  • Ensure all refrigerated items are stocked or properly stored.
  • Distribute received merchandise or notify team of arrival.
  • Establish and maintain merchandise return/transfer area.
  • Maintain receiving area in a neat, clean, organized and safe manner.
  • Process incoming special orders, price and call guest to notify.
  • Use all communication tools including department logbook.
  • Document product transfers and waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
  • Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Know and practice proper lifting techniques.
  • Report all life safety and fire hazards, along with any other violations of company policy, to Team Leader for correction and report all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Store Leadership immediately.
  • Effectively communicate with Team Members regarding receiving and department operations.
  • Attend all department, store and training meetings when scheduled.
  • Answer department telephone calls and pages with proper etiquette when time permits.
  • Develop working knowledge of all department vendors.
  • Verification of each delivery and variances noted on invoice and to Team Leader.
  • Follow through with correcting discrepancies using proper procedure.
  • Assist in stocking product.
  • File all completed paperwork in designated area.
  • Properly and accurately record time using time clock at the beginning and end of each shift and for unpaid meal breaks during shift.
  • Responsible for proper dress code, including non-slip shoes and cut-resistant gloves, when necessary, during each work shift.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break

**Required Skills**

**Position Summary**
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory while maintaining the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment tasks, put away, cycle counting, return product management, B/O and Days' Supply monitoring and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.
- Managing returned goods according to standard operating procedures while also monitoring product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators in a well organized manner.
- Provide Operations Assistants with adequate packing supplies and ensure pack stations are stocked appropriately.
- Monitor and pull short dated or expired product from active inventory.
- Filing inventory and SOX documentation.
- Assists with other duties as assigned and/or any other tasks as assigned by Leadership.
This position could be physically demanding. Must be able to sit, stand, pull, push, reach, stretch, walk and be physical for multiple hours of the day.
**Required Qualifications**
- 1 year professional work experience in a warehouse, purchasing and/or inventory environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) software
- Pharmacy Technician License within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities
  • Assists with collection operations by packing hampers and canteens for operations.
  • Distributes rolls to appropriate affiliates, packs medical waste, fills truck requisitions and prepares donor rooms.
  • Verifies deliveries and maintains inventory and distribute supplies.
  • Unloads delivery trucks and stocks mobile truck inventory. 
  • Checks and signs all deliveries and performs a complete inventory twice a year and consolidates stock items.
  • Restocks shelves and fills hospital and apheresis requisitions and maintains cleanliness and security of stockroom and checks inventory levels on trucks and in the Central Supply area.
  • Maintains and cleans equipment, cleans and calibrates; BP cuffs, hemocues, donor scales and checks and cleans blood coolers.
  • Sterilizes hand tools and glassware and sorts items in sterile hampers.
  • Cleans coffee machines, water jugs, coffee pots, coolers, pitchers and other items from operations.
  • Maintains a daily collection report and all other necessary paperwork.
  • Ensures that adequate supplies are maintained for all collections operations. Ensures that departmental equipment is cleaned and properly functioning and calibrated as necesssary. Receives, distributes, and delivers stock for operations.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2yrs warehouse/shipping receiving experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Good communication skill. Detailed orientated.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is DSS’s technology services organization. ITS mission is to support the daily, emergent, and long-term needs of both agencies. ITS creates and enhances the technology infrastructure and computer applications that support HRA and DHS and develops applications, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, case management systems, housing systems, employment/work engagement services, revenue producing computer matches, claiming systems, and personnel systems.

Information Technology Services, Infrastructure & Operations/Client Base Enterprise Services Is Recruiting For One (1) Computer Specialist (SW) Level IV, To Function As Specifications And Inventory Control Manager, Who Will

  • Be responsible for directing on-going daily operations and performing administrative functions for

the Specifications and Inventory Control Unit, which processes all requests for new LAN

equipment as well as enhancements over numerous platforms.

  • Supervise a team of highly technical staff responsible for hardware/software specifications

throughout the DSS community, based on specific customer function(s) ensuring that all specifications

will enhance DSS’ state of the art environment.

  • Oversee market survey selection configurations to ensure that appropriate specifications are being

developed that both meet market standards and are appropriate for user functions and needs and

will further enhance DSS’ WAN/LAN environment.

  • Research new products and assesses benefits for improved operations to DSS customer community.

Provide reports of analyses of findings and recommendations.

  • Interface with vendors for discussion of new product items and upgrades and develops strategic plan

for implementation and analyses of impact to customer base.

  • Ensure the integrity of the automated Inventory System, which tracks all hardware, software, related

peripherals and special orders, relocations, re-assignments and enhancements/upgrades to existing

systems included in DSS’ Enterprise Network.

  • Participate in meetings with Vendors, Internal Purchasing Agents, DSS Customers and Upper

Management to discuss state of the art technologies and provides input into the selection of

standardized agency configurations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, including or supplemented by twenty-four (24) semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and two (2) years of satisfactory full-time software experience in designing, programming, debugging, maintaining, implementing, and enhancing computer software applications, systems programming, systems analysis and design, data communication software, or database design and programming, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; or
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six (6) years of full-time satisfactory software experience as described in “1 above, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; or
  • A satisfactory combination of education and experience that is equivalent to (1) or (2) above. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in (2) above on the basis that sixty (60) semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. A masters degree in computer science or a related computer field may be substituted for one year of the required experience in (1) or (2) above. However, all candidates must have a four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent, plus at least one (1) year of satisfactory full-time software experience in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.

NOTE: In order to have your experience accepted as Project Leader or Major Contributor experience, you must explain in detail how your experience qualifies you as a project leader or as a major contributor. Experience in computer operations, technical support, quality assurance (QA), hardware installation, help desk, or as an end user will not be accepted for meeting the minimum qualification
